The US Woman's national soccer team would say otherwise. Half of those players are millionares from endorsements.

"hot" doesn't necessarily mean marketable.

I understand it's a business decision for Jordan but I fear it will it will backfire in the end.

Looks like it’s more than just the OL as I’ve now seen Amber Ramirez and Cam Ball tweet out sponsorships from Wrights too.

Yeah I’m not sure how giving some athletes free food is bad for business

I have no clue if they signed a contractual agreement and what the specifics are.

He's already fed the team along with other local businesses. Once big franchises jump in, he'll be a blimp on the players radar.

Wouldn't you say that's a little different than the Arkansas Womens Softball team. May just a little?

Anyway, what I am foreseeing is a huge gap between the men's deals and the women's deals, which will lead to problems.

Despite how 'good' it looks on the surface, it's going to lead to a cluster, most likely.

Not sure of the specifics either, he has fed the team but as a whole not individually. I’m sure it will be free food if you post you were here when you come in.

How is that any different than the current pro environment?

My point is if someone is marketable enough, they don't need to be "hot" and it certainly doesn't matter how many people show up and watch their sport vs men's sports.

Numerous female athletes have proven otherwise via the olympics etc.

This. Many of these female athletes have been marketing themselves for years and have an established presence on social media platforms. They are already set up to take endorsement deals as many planned on being "influencers" after school anyway. More money in that than professional women's sports. Far more.

Yeah, like that LSU gymnast with 1.1M followers will be making a lot per post. Far more than any QB.

I don't see why it's a problem. They wanted more capitalism in college athletics and this is what marketing looks like now. Hot girls and famous guys on instagram
