He hasn’t started a game all year, and what’s the most we can realistically expect out of him, 4 innings? Rather keep him in the role he’s used to, coming out of the pen in a high leverage spot. If you have to bring him in in the third inning fine.

Gives you a chance to get up early and bring in the shakier guys with a cushion to try to take the pressure off.

It's not even just the recruiting. The guys that stay here get WORSE. We gave this waste of space a multi-million dollar pitching center and this is what he produces with it. Get him the frick out of here.

I fricking loathe our pitching approach.
We’ll get into advantage count by getting hitters 0-2, 1-2 and then we just nibble and miss.
It’s incredible how many 0-2 counts we get into in which we allow the hitter to work back full. We also allow more 2 strike 2 out hits than any staff in the country.
Hobbs sucks.

I liked some of the one year portal guys from the 2023 and 2024 teams that didn’t even make it out of a regional.
I liked Jared Wegner. I really liked Tavian Josenberger. I liked Hudson White. I liked guys like Hunter Hollan and Mason Molina. I liked Jared Sprague-Lott.
I really dislike Niu and Stewart and am glad to see them go. I’ll be glad to see Pompey portal on out.
Keep Ruiz, Kozeal, and Souza and start over.
