Line opens up with Aggies favored. How we feeling about this game?

Strength on strength and weakness on weakness in terms of each team’s offense and defense.

Stop Achane, take care of the football and we win.

I honestly have no idea what to think about this game, especially since they switched QBs to Johnson.

He's not very athletic when it comes to running or throwing on the run/escapability but he's a much better game manager than King and takes care of the ball much better. He also isn't much of a deep ball threat and that's definitely not how Jimbo's offense works either way. Any other coach I'd be worried about them adapting their scheme to take advantage of our secondary, but Jimbo is notoriously stubborn when it comes to sticking with his outdated style.

Their offense isn't great and neither is their Oline and running game, which matches up well with our strength on defense. Jimbo isn't a creative play caller and his style will play into our strength at LB in the middle of the field and on the Dline, not to mention Johnson is practically a statue back there. I like our chances to get a lot of pressure, TFLs, and sacks.

Their defense is definitely the strength of their team and they've got some stud athletes on that side of the ball. Our offense is the strength of our team (when they execute) and has many different looks/schemes they can throw at the defense, if they can execute they will score plenty.

It'll be a close dogfight like always, I just hope this week wasn't any indication of the true ability of this team and we were caught sleeping instead. Our defense has to limit the big plays and giving up first downs on 3rd, get pressure on Johnson since he cant escape well, and our offense obviously can't afford to turn it over and needs to chew up the clock with long sustaining drives.

We do that, and we win going away. I'm also 100% positive that Jimbo will somehow find it in his heart to suddenly forgive all those suspended players just for this game, so they'll have a lot of individual talent back to work with

That’s because Saracen is in Arkansas so they get a lot of money on Arkansas. Saracen is always about a fg less than Vegas when it comes to Arkansas lines

In my eyes it all depends on if we get a stubborn Jimbo calling plays or one that is willing to fully attack our weakness. Even then their personnel isn't really fit to beat us on offense.

Not sure why y'all are saying that. We have been super blitz heavy through the first three games

A&M’s defense is the epitome of “bend but don’t break”, even more so than our defense.

So it dawned on me this game could come down to Cam Little’s leg. Hope he’s up for some big kicks.

How are y'all feeling about this one? I figured this past weekend maybe Hogs were just looking ahead?

I think we should win this game by 7-10 points. A&M offense is simply not good and won't be able to truly exploit our secondary. They have a very solid defense, but it would surprise me if KJ can't put up at least 24 points. Miami outgained them by a LOT last week, and I'm not even sure they are a good team.

Thanks for the feedback! I watched y'all against Cincinnati and was really impressed with that game. I know that the A&M defense will keep them in every game this year. Aggies are still trying to figure out their offensive line with youngsters and injuries.

If we can cut down on penalties and tackle past the line of scrimmage, we win.

We also have, have to get pressure on Johnson. Their OL hasn’t looked great and we can’t let them have time to get the ball to Achane, Ainias Smith and their 20 other 5 star playmakers. I’m already having nightmares about Blair or Johnson trying to tackle them.
