re: Looking for recommendations for Greece Honeymoon - September 2025

We did the Acropolis and Acropolis museum in a day and enjoyed it. I just think there is so much better fun to be had on the Greek Isles than staying in Athens. Athens is no Rome where there are several 5* tourist spots.
I really think people are underselling Santorini. It’s like people saying not to go to the Vatican because it is crowded. It can get crowded because the views you get are absolutely amazing.

My only word of advice is that Athens stinks. You should stay there for one night and visit the Acropolis. I've never talked to a single person that visited Greece and said they wished they spent more time in Athens. There are so many charming little islands that I wouldn't waste more time in a dirty, big city with graffiti everywhere.
I'll disagree with some here and say that Santorini was incredible. We did visit in late May though, so this was before the majority of the cruise ships start stopping. There is tons to do that isn't in the immediate vicinity of the cruise docks though, so you don't have to interact with the hordes of people seeking out the photos with the blue domes.
We also spent a few days in Mykonos as well. It has more of a nightlife/party vibe, which wasn't particularly our thing, but the island itself is beautiful and fun.
If I had to do it again, I would include something like Paros or Naxos that isn't quite as touristy as places like Mykonos/Santorini.

I was amazed at how quickly they could turn over one of those ferries. Much faster than an airline.

Take a look at IRS Form 8606. This is what you have to fill out for the Roth back door contributions, and it says you can characterize anything before 4/18/23 as a 2022 contribution.
re: What is the most relaxing vacation you have done?

Bora Bora was very relaxing. We booked a couple of activities, but they were never far out of the way and only took a couple hours.
Santorini and Mykonos were also very relaxing. We didn't really have a set itinerary, so we ended up just kinda exploring the island and carrying on at our own pace.

Go stay there for a couple of weeks in the summer and see what you think. Also, consider what this town might look like without any oil activity.
Given the modern conveniences that we have become accustomed to, rural south Texas would be a huge change. Don’t try and bring a woman down there.

If you are in a position to exceed the lifetime exemption, then you should probably consult an attorney that is an expert in this subject. Wealth transfer can get hideously complicated.

I think we should win this game by 7-10 points. A&M offense is simply not good and won't be able to truly exploit our secondary. They have a very solid defense, but it would surprise me if KJ can't put up at least 24 points. Miami outgained them by a LOT last week, and I'm not even sure they are a good team.

I don't have an issue with playing an in-state opponent at War Memorial. Let's be honest, we wouldn't get more than 50K for a UAPB game in Fayetteville anyways.
Having a conference game in WM along with the A&M deal in Dallas was a bad deal and lead to a lack of good games in Fayetteville. I think this strikes a good balance.

I agree you should just put the extra time into Paris. If you are only there for three nights, you might try and do too much and just end up half-assing a lot of spots that really deserve more time.

Some of y’all need to step away from the computer for a bit. You see a Twitter post that affirms your world view and just run with it. Someone asked for a link to the study supporting this person’s outrageous claims and they got downvoted into oblivion.
re: Medium risk/high reward cheap stock needed

Most people would prefer owning a million shares of a company worth $1/share rather than one share worth $1M/share. If it is only $1/share, then you can dream how rich you will be if it only gets to $100/share even if that implies the company would be worth $50T.

Sounds like you are looking for a small cap stock. Look at market cap instead of share price as that is not indicative of a company’s size.

I don’t have the time or give a shite to post under multiple accounts. That’s pathetic.

frick off, jimmy. No one cares.
This is just another example of how shitty this board has become. It is basically on the exact opposite spectrum as DU. People on here used to laugh at how a moderate position would get you shite on there. Now saying “hey guys let’s not cheer for people to die” on TD gets you hate and downvotes.
I mean there have been topics on this board the past couple weeks asking if you would try and save a liberal if they were drowning. Most said they wouldn’t! That’s pretty sad and messed up.

Correct. Were you on here posting about those people being shitty people? Or just now you’re doing it?
Are those people on this board? Any time someone posts anything slightly pro-vaccine, they get a lot of venom and down votes. My opinion isn’t needed.
I feel like I shouldn’t have to prove my neutrality in order for you to agree that applauding people dying is in poor taste.
