Cautious optimism......

Basketball team has a real chance to contend

Baseball still a little ways away but similar expectations... softball also

Football appears to finally have some capable leadership that understands how to build a roster in all the madness.....

I'm not expecting 10 titles or anything .... but it feels like better days are on the horizon finally!

If football turns around, will people still want Hunter fired?

I honestly don't think about HY unless he's screwing up.... right now I don't care if he stays....

Now if the wheels come off in the fall I may have a different answer

I'll be convinced when we start winning, as of now not convinced

I’m numb when it comes to football. And unenthusiastic about a .667 career head coach, .375 against teams above .500. True, the two 3rd place finishes (ties) in the AAC are pretty spectacular, but I’ll just wait and see how he does in the SEC.

Nope. Sorry, but the basketball team has shite the bed on the road in conference play. DVH is still the head BB coach and Silverfield ain't no Cignetti.

Seems a little harsh to me. They are 4-2 in conference and it’s still early.

He did specify on the road. And they're 1–2, with the win and one of the losses being against shite teams. Georgia is good (so far) but we've been blown the frick out both times.

I learned a long time ago not to get too invested in our athletic program. My first game as a student was a loss to the Citadel.

I've only witnessed one natty ('94) in my lifetime and feel like we're Charlie Brown trying to kick the football most other times.

That's what I was thinking, OM is 3-3 and beat Mizzou and UGA after we beat them as well.

Good call. There's zero indication that we will ever not shite and fall back in it.

Cal missed on his big men. Not a contender without one.

The last decade + has pretty much curbed my enthusiasm. I'm still hopeful for wins, but expectations are low.
