I would guess 3-4 of our starters aren’t even committed to us yet.

Not sure but if he isn't projected as a sure fire draft pick, I would assume he does

Certainly possible but we are bringing in two highly touted recruits and likely have at least a couple remaining here

High school or transfers? Hopefully not high school kids.

I'm just not sure I see how that could work given the ages and transfer restrictions and draft projections. Unless we're expecting someone that shouldn't leave to leave

Below was what it looks like right now.

Potential starting team:
Davis
Brazille/Walsh/council (if any stay)
Blocker
Pinion
Fall

In order for 3-4 starters not to be known. We'd have to assume fall and blocker won't be starting and that we lose a big chunk of the top 4 listed.

It would be a surprise if he didn't. He's not getting drafted.

Dec 27th was his surgery. First game is Nov 6th.

Freshmen starters aren't going to carry you any farther than Black, Walsh and Smith did. Not knocking what they did contribute, and getting to the 16 was an accomplishment, but we have to remember THEY were the men among boys just a year ago (in high school), this year they were the young pups among men. Their biggest improvement would have likely been between this year and next year, unfortunately, only Walsh will maybe be back.
We're going to have more seasoned men to depend on to make it much farther.
The UCONN game reminded me of when Larry Johnson told Nolan Richardson that he needed to recruit him some men.

They won't carry us but moody devo and jaylin all started and contributed as true freshman on elite eight teams

I could see blocker starting though I doubt it. No way on fall

Don't need either of the freshmen to carry us, but they can be huge contributors in a 7-8 man rotation

Not getting Omier last year from Ark State is haunting. Right down the road dammit.

He's been so good for Miami.

16 double doubles. 17, 14, 13 rebound games in NCAAT.

And we paid big big money for our McD AA's.

Just a matter of where the resources went. Miami went all in on portal and we went all in on HS.

If we had a healthy Brazile, we would not have been an 8 seed and probably avoided the buzzsaw that was Uconn in the tourney and may still be alive.

Either way, both programs are pretty flush with NIL $$.

Id bet Ark and Miami are probably two of the top 5-10 NIL programs in the country right now.

Wyoming big man Graham Ike is looking like a very real possibility right now in the portal.

Big man who can score and is a good passer down low.

Dont know about his defense but he and TB together would be hard to stop.

Looks like Muss is also going hard after a pure PG who is an upperclass man.

I bet next year could look like this:

Walsh
Devo
TB
Big man Xfer
PG Xfer
Wing xfer

Dunning
Pinion

Rim protecter xfer
Wing/shooter xfer
CG xfer

Out:

Ford
AB
NSJ
Twins
Graham
