Memphis is going to be really good
I like some of what I see watching the Hogs. Think we should probably play slower and emphasize owning the boards. I want the five guards to be Blocker, Battle, Mark, Devo and Pinion. Brazile is obvious and then Lawson or Graham when you want to go big. Mitchell is depth.

I just hope we can even get Graham on the floor consistently this year. Apparently his back issues have been a reoccurring thing since the summer and he’s still dealing with it.

Memphis is much better than Stanford.
Memphis forced Arkansas a season high 18 turnovers.
They are quicker and faster than Stanford and it was too much for Arkansas in this game.
The technical fouls gave Memphis free points and they shot at 80%.

Yeah I would not be surprised if Memphis is a top 15 team.
Right not we’re probably in the 25-30 range honestly. I think we could still be top 10 by the end of the season.

With the exception of Stanford game we have shot good enough to win. The defense needs to get better.

I’ll say it. I love Muss but I’m sick and tired of how we always look shite early season. This doesn’t always happen to other good coaches.
Also, we needed an actual center in the portal. Makhi is garbage and gets lost on defense.

Just people taking turns trying to create their own shot. Our ball movement (or lack of) doesn't put pressure on the defense at all.

Brazile is incredibly frustrating. Doesn’t use his height inside at all and makes some dumbass decisions. That’s 3 straight games with either a tech or flagrant.

It looks like the NBA 20 years ago.
People didn't want an offense, they wanted sets. They have now have sets and ISOs. I'm not sure what the problem would be.

I think our starters feel rushed. No precision on offense and we over pursue the ball on defense. I'm hoping more game time minutes will resolve some of this.

I know it’s a meme that Muss will struggle early and turn it on late, but we almost didn’t make the tournament at all last year.
At some point this has to turn around. If we shite the bed in the early season AND shite the bed in the early SEC schedule….
It will be hard to go deep in the tournament if we don’t make the tournament.
