Hope we turn it around at home. I imagine Bud Walton will be the best it has been all season.

So as someone who’s been out of the loop on basketball, how are we looking seeding wise? I could do the research but then I would be depriving all the wonderful people in here of that honor I think hell at this point, are we even in yet?

I see it as 8 or 9 if we lose to Kentucky and possibly a 7 maybe even a 6 if we beat Kentucky and win a couple sec tournament games with the idea that we likely would play miss st the first day and bama the second day

Kentucky loses to Vandy so that means they come beat us by 15, right?

What a weird SEC season it’s been

Cason Wallace left the game with an injury too

That’s good for us, would much rather get them after a home loss to Vandy compared to a five game winning streak. Now their streak is over and they’ve been humbled, ripe for a Saturday beating.

A win over them solidifies our spot on the 8/9 line, right in the slot to get a big upset in the tourney.

Conspiracy theory alert -

We gave the Tennesee game away because we’d rather be a 10 seed and face a #2 in the second round versus being a dreaded 8 seed facing #1 in second round.

Why else would we be obviously throwing it to the other team so much, keep Graham on the bench, bricking shots, etc…

It will be very hard to sweep them.

I rather they win and feel overconfident than lose which will make them more motivated.

We should be able to out motivate them if that’s the case

Because we've always had turnover issues during the season if the other team played defense.

keep Graham on the bench,

His defense is bad most of the time.

bricking shots

We have zero shooters on this team.

I find it fascinating that this year’s team is shooting 32.1% from 3 and last year’s team shot 30.4% from 3.

I guess the elite 8 run last year has papered over a lot of the shooting woes from last year that I don’t remember

You came to the wrong place, my friend.

The predictions on here vacillate between 4-5 seed and NIT 1 & done.

Definitely agree.

Biggest difference is you had 4 serious certfied bucket getters in Notae, Umede, Williams and Toney. Every one of those dudes could take the ball from just about anywhere on the court and get a decent shot.

This team has 2 in Smith and Council and neither of them have been very efficient in converting.

Notae and Umede also really had a propensity to hit massive dagger 3s as well. Those dudes had serious cahones late in the year. Haven't really seen that at all from anyone on this team.

We've only attempted 477. Last year we took 685 attempts...

Biggest difference in last years team and this was winning close games. We’re 1-5 in one possession games. Flip that and we’re probably a 4 seed. We’re either unlucky or not clutch. Maybe both.

Women’s team wins the 8/9 matchup in the SECT 85-74. Outscored em 29-10 in the 4Q.

Now they advance to be the sacrificial lamb against South Carolina in the QF.

No joke, nice reward for winning a game.
