The problem with LSU fans is that it runs deeper than sports. It has something to do with the state of Louisiana being an unbearable place to deal with and so in order to compensate, they have to be overzealous and obnoxious. They see the state of Arkansas and the hogs as inferior even though they understand that isn't the truth. They do the same with Alabama, something they know is superior to them but will never believe and show it or it is a sign of weakness to them.

We'll always have the big dog brotherhood with Kentucky, but yeah outside of that we're definitely wiping our shoes on the rest of the conference's carpet.

Amen frick em.

Has that one shot from Devo been discussed on here? The one where he gets stuffed and gets the ball back and then is backwards to the goal and flips it up and it goes in. He may not have had the season we thought he would but between that and the teabag (you boys have made me horrible I do declare :p) he’s had some funny shite for sure.

That play is the perfect representation of the entire game. Derped our way to a win

Devo is such an interesting player. He doesn't seem to have a setting between amazing and meh.

Go watch the Auburn players confusion after the shot.

It may depend on who we play.

Some of our players looked tired last night, I hope they have enough gas in the tank for the 10rc game. This has been a tough, emotional stretch for them.

If we win Saturday I wouldn’t be against limiting our starters time in the SECT and giving the backups the majority of the minutes, win or lose…no big deal.

Get these guys some rest.

We certainly don’t need a Brady Slavens situation.

Exactly, one ankle injury could derail everything, no sense in taking that chance.

Courtney Fortson had to lie down for a minute when he saw that shot.

We play on Saturday and then not again until Friday. Surely that's plenty of rest for 19-23 y/o

They’ll have to play one game, the rest mean nothing but chances of injury.

Let the backups play….

That LSU game was our worst nightmare as far as shooting goes and we found a way to win.

That game right there was what will get us bounced in the tourney, but the good news is, that was about as bad as it gets and we still pulled it out with JWill on the bench for the last 5 minutes.

That game is both scary and encouraging. I sure as shite wouldn't want to play us in the tourney.

Any game we can shoot halfway decent in makes us almost unbeatable.

Shooting? Stanley was fire down the stretch.

I think the +20 offensive boards and every player on their team finishing like Notae against UK hurt quite a bit worse.

No clue how LSU always pulls that effort level out of their arse against us at BWA.

Onto UT though. Have a shot but don’t expect much.

I'm missing the reference. What's going on here?

ETA: Is this in reference to Pelphrey talking bout warriors laying down and bleeding?

Yes he said they need to lay down and have a good bleed.

The reason we get the best effort this late in the season from LSU is because they lose winnable games earlier in the year as the norm and of course to make up for it, does that sound familiar? Contrast that from the first meeting of the year and they were ranked and overconfident. They aren't a well coached team by the pear. LSU fans love to make excuses such as talent or injuries or the pear's lack of experience but Muss would do better with that LSU team as good or better than he has now.

A lot of LSU fans will throw a full on hissy fit if you say this but I've found most of the reasonable LSU fans tend to agree. They are not particularly well coached. With the talent they have on that squad there is no way they should have a losing conference record... but they do.

I'm at the hope for no injuries against the Vols and during the SECT stage right now. The Vol fans are up in arms big time for this game but I think most Arkansas fans are hoping that we can rest players after the meat grinder of a home stretch we went through.

At this point I think it is fair to say that these coaches have been a result of VCU's program, not that they have made VCU competitive. Just one bust after another when not at VCU.
