I posted this in the game thread after the replay

quote:

If I had to guess I’d say a hyperextended knee or maybe even a strained calf from the overstretch

Both would be relatively quick recoveries. His gait doesn’t look affected much at all on the way to the locker room

My fear is he could have a minor meniscus tear as well which would not stop him from playing but could hamper his lateral mobility and overall explosiveness

Last I've seen that has yet to be determined.

I realize you're just quoting what someone else said, but why call it a "lower leg" injury? Why not just call it what it is.....a knee injury? Seems nobody can call anything what it actually is any more.

Potter tweet:

Saban: "Will Anderson has been very encouraging. He'll probably take a day off today, is kind of day to day. But we feel a little more encouraged than maybe after the game. We'll just see how he progresses through the course of the week."

Based on my experience of listening to Saban discuss injuries he is saying they expect Anderson to be ready to go on Saturday.
