Why did they miss Saturday?

Weren't able to practice enough to be comfortable against that specific unique style of play.

Seems suspect. I was told that Saban’s plays all the starters, all the time, regardless of opponent, score, or time remaining.

Just something passed to me but WA31 is doing some indoor drills today, light, checking lateral movement.

Plan is to have him on a snap count for the game, check series by series. If all is good. Cleared fully.

Obviously I'd love to have him 100% ready to rip for the entire game, but with our depth I'd be content with him coming onto the field in passing down situations (2nd and long, 3rd and 5+, etc).

I trust the depth we have at LB/Edge in our situations to do a solid job and let Will be as full go as possible for pass rushing.

I feel the same. Everyone’s backup is pretty good. Hell Sanders has been a pleasant surprise.

He's been great - never out of position, setting the edge, driving ball carriers back and dropping them.

Sanders has been a pleasant surprise and fun to watch. He still gets pushed back a little bit if they run right at him, but he's a terror on the edge.

I'm very thankful that King Mwikuta decided to not transfer. He could end up being a key contributor this year with the injuries.

Sanders looks solid (although a clear downgrade from Allen both against the run and in pass rush.) Concern is getting Braswell and Turner ready for big boy SEC ball. Are either of them ready yet? Braswell still looks skinny to me, and Dallas hasn't had a chance to even learn the playbook yet.

I do think King Mwikuta size/speed combo would be a nice option. But Turner while not maybe total playbook ready was very aggressive, and physical against Mecer.

One other option based on down and distance could see ToTo on the edge with Mooody playing inside. When Drew needs a break.I am not saying that's a full game line-up but to give 20 some plays off and have still the high I.Q Toto on the field. who is taller/bigger,stronger than Drew on the edge.

All these combo's may be in play with Will Anderson not being 100%.We know that Sanders,Baswell, turner will all most likely get some reps unless will is 100% at game time.I do think Sanders has done very well and is a gamer who brings it.

Drew Sanders is a big fricking dude. Roster has him at 6'5 244. Henry T is listed at 6'2 228. So, what the frick are you talking about?

Bro no need to curse as Drew does not look that big on the field.
Just a opinion and if he is that big I stand corrected !

Now worries Aj. There was a pic going around this offseason of Sanders in the weight room and that dude is really, really big.

trust me bro I have no problem with sander as kid been playing well.I just was responding to a post saying turner physically looks ready but may not be playbook full up to speed..Based on the opponent and Mullen Offense designs..Toto as a edge rusher on a few down distances based series and his High I.Q of the defense may be and option.

I like what Baswell and turner bring to the table already.I am more concern about Hellems, wright blowing a secondary call..I think moore I.Q wise might be better for this Fla offensive plays.

Turner looks the smallest on tv. Maybe it's the number, but i thought he was bigger. He almost looks like McKinney with that #15.
