I would not hold my breath on this. Bama is about as welcome, watchable and popular as Ebolaids outside of our own fan base. Literally not a soul outside of Bama would likely watch it and I doubt it even gets made unless one of two things happens; a Bama person makes it and pro Bama people at ESPN decide to air it or this dynasty comes crashing down in such a way that a scandal would force someone to make and air it. Look no further than the CFP ratings numbers to confirm this and Alabama being in that game with aa great shot to win was a primary reason the numbers were down.

For a few years now Bama games have consistently done high ratings. The playoff games wer down in ratings because of NYE, so the title game was down too. Also Clemson and Bama come from the same region, and I wouldn't call Clemson a program I've historically been dying to watch on TV. Though after the fight they put up I have a new found respect for Clemson, Dabo, and Watson.

This is a good point. Makes sense that we haven't seen a Nebraska one yet, too.

That timeframe is nowhere near as barren as people try to make it sound now.

But for Steve Spurrier, Stalling's seven years would have been Bryant an Saban-esque.

11-1 in 1991, 12-1 in 1994. Both losses to UF, the second by 1 point. Never finished worse than second in the west and won it 3 years of the 5 post expansion seasons he coached.

The only real true down era was the saga of the 3 Mikes. Even with that cluster, as I posted in another thread, from the end of the 1992 season to the end of the 2007 season, nobody won more SEC west titles than Bama.

"The Drunken Years" or "Hell" are great!!!!

Seriously, nothing regarding the Bear. Fan since 1989 and what I know is Stallings, a bunch of temps, and the GOAT in NCAA coaching. I respect what Bear accomplished, but don't think he has any influence on our football program at all 1989 forward. Please do not think this is a knock on the man at all, but 1996-2007 is all about wishing Stallings had never left and being grateful that Saban saved us....
