I got the opportunity to meet John Mitchell when he was serving as an assistant coach and I was in about the 8th grade. One of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet.

Maybe a drag show during the pregame or including Transgender reps on the team...

If the University were dead set on doing something, erect a statue of John Mitchell. Put it parallel to the walk of champions plaques of the first teams that featured black players

I think we should go to an Alabama football game and watch a football game and enjoy it! I am so sick and tired of all this crap going on in the middle of sporting events!
I watch sports to "get away from it all"! Don't we get enough of it in our daily lives?
BTW, I'm not sure many Southerners are sure where to find Tim Hortons or even know what it is!

I agree with you 100%! Bowl Cut making sure he hits every social justice issue and even dabbled in vaccines in his press conference at SEC media days. Smh, he is a complete clown.

If it has to be, and I would prefer not, I could go for a bronze statue of a topless AOC.

Honest answer to a troll post:
I would like to see some more recognition of the University's accomplishments when it comes to social justice, or the trailblazing women/people of color/disabled/etc. that have come through the university. I'm not a big fan of bowing to the national social justice movement and their forced symbolism, but I would be more than ok with the University celebrating its own progress.
Somebody else mentioned a statue of John Mitchell. Things like that would be nice. Halftime recognitions of some of the first black admin employees in the Athletics program. Maybe figure out who the first players of hispanic of asian descent are and recognize them.
