What is the all-time best Saban quote up to this current point in time?

My personal favorite is:

“Appreciate your interest in the game.”

Honorable mention goes to:

“I’m not going to, so quit asking.” Partially cause it’s so memeable.

When asked who he will elect to kick or receive if the coin toss is won before the LSU game.

"I hope we elect to kick their arse."

Proceeds to blank LSU 29-0 on their field.

Coach: "Who do you think you just hired?"

Mal: "I think we hired the best coach in football."

Coach: "No, but you did hire the best damn recruiter that ever lived."

(wrote from memory and I'm sure it's not word-for-word)

honorable mention:

"...like shite through a tin horn."

“Make his arse quit” is and always will be my favorite. Love watching that speech.

First day of practice a few years ago, after a press conference, he told the media to “get your a$$ in gear” and I still tell my ole lady that often

The one about "rat poison" will be remembered and repeated by other people for a long time.

Can’t remember verbatim, but before the MSU game in 2008, on Hey Coach, CNS pounded the desk and went on a mini rant about player and/or fan complacency. Preached or scolded about the fans getting off their asses.

That fired me up a bit.

There are a lot of good ones and many of them have already been mentioned.

However, if there was one Saban quote that I would take over any other. It’s this one:

”Discipline, to me, is: 'Here's something I know I'm supposed to do that I really don't want to do. ' Can you make yourself do it? And then over here there's something you know you're not supposed to do that you want to do. So discipline is doing something you need to be doing even if you don’t really want to be doing it.”

Hate to be cheesy, but that’s a quote that’s so applicable to life that everyone should make their children memorize it. If someone followed that advice, they’d be successful in literally anything.

"Your actions speak so loud I can't hear what you're saying."

Then the coped Jim Rohn quote he has used
"We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret or disappointment"

This one because its funny as hell and it's something when you hear you know exactly what is meant by it.

Pick a subject, any subject. I never get tired of coach working in some, "positive self-gratification"
