Easy to look up.
2025 team rushing stats
LSU 1275 yds
Alabama 1511 yds

They rushed for 85 against OU but the point is we can’t do shite right on offense now.

If this were a Jalen Hurts 2018 when the failure was all his, then yes, bench Ty. But this isn’t that. Our problems lie with scheme and a bad o-line. No way you want to put Mac or Russell in with this offensive mess. There is a reason why Ty was named the starter. He’s our best option to win.
It’s just what it is right now. We probably get a lot more run heavy against OK this time.
I think we win.

Can we put OC Ryan Grubb on a shorter leash?

It’s been bad for 6 weeks but the last 2 of three games it was horrible against Oklahoma and Georgia.

Looks like Shocco has an alter …

What? No they can’t. I believe they have a worse rushing offense than Alabama or do before last night.

I have a hard time, understanding why Coach does not pull Ty for a series, go to him on the sidelines, and talk to him about what’s happening on the field, while giving the backup time to have a series. Then run it up the middle with our rb three times by handing off if we have to. Just do something to settle your quarterback down. He does nothing to settle his quarterback down, and we all know that right now while there may be some form of back issue, there’s definitely a lot of mental that is going on, whether confidence issue or something else.

Benching your starter can be a good thing sometimes. Look at what happened to Bryce Young when the Panthers did it.

I'm only for replacing Ty b/c I think he's hurt. It's a dangerous thing to do otherwise.
But the 'it's the playoffs argument' is bogus.
First, we barely made the playoffs. Maybe, should not have.
Second If you are ever going to roll the dice, do it here. Not much to lose imo. It may give you the spark to win a few games. That may be our ceiling but that sure would be cool.

I agree with a lot of this but I think a lot of the problem with Ty is the dude is shell shocked from getting drilled over and over and over. Yes, he could help himself by getting rid of the ball quicker but something needs to be done to calm him down. Maybe smoke a blunt before kickoff? LOL

Simpson would get two series if I were HC. Maybe not even that depending on Georgia game film. Two series max. Two 3 and outs and I’ve seen enough. I’d be getting the tall one ready to go. The time is now. There is no tomorrow.

The last 4-5 games I've been thinking Ty was going to breakout of his funk and look like the early October Heisman frontrunner again.
Yet each game goes by and he looks the same. He doesn't look settled or composed. I know the OL has underperformed, but he's looked much better with the same OL. Even when he has a clean pocket he's inaccurate and off target more often than not.
I don't know the reasons...all I know is that they better have the #2 ready to go in two weeks if he's still looking like crap. I'd give him 3 drives.

Hopefully, the extra time will help Ty settle down. We saw what he is capable of doing however, I think the stress of playing QB has gotten to him towards the end of the season. He morphed into Milroe.
I wouldn't say he morphed into Milroe but morphed back into the shite QB he was against South Florida when we were begging Saban to put Milroe back in. Didn't he also come in for a series against OU last year and failed to hit a wide open Bernard in the flat?

The only way we see another QB is if Ty gets injured.

Well said BCBAMA.
This is what you'd think should be happening.
Maybe the OC or the assistant OC is doing it.
But this is the kind of coaching that when seen or is being shown brings a bit of confidence in the players and their mindset.
I don't know what is going on. Other than the same crap on repeat for basically multiple offensive possessions across multiple games.
