He’s Tua lite. But their not nearly as vulnerable with him playing. Much harder out.

So we have Bama/ Georgia
Ohio State
Clemson
Oklahoma ??

I think Auburn’s win over Washington probably had the effect of eliminating the Pac 10.

Notre Dame I don’t mention because I don’t think they are for real.

The most likely to slip up is Oklahoma imo. But assuming they don’t, a Bama/Georgia SEC championship is looking like a must win, sudden death, situation. No two teams from the SEC this year.

I don’t think Ohio State loses. Too good. Only Bama can put them down.

Watch the Texas OU game. Watch OU. If they go down, Bama and Ga may very well both get in. Assuming neither screws up.

Don't sleep on ND too soon. Outside of this weekend against Stanford, they won't play anyone currently ranked in the Top 25. Unless USC finds their way, Navy will be their toughest out.
Ohio State is going to Ohio State at some point. Penn State, Michigan State, and Michigan remain as potential losses but don't look past Maryland. They could be this years Iowa!
Agree about OU/Texas. The Red River Rivalry may actually be interesting this year.
Toughest out for Clemson won't be until their conference championship unless Cutcliffe can throw a wrench into their season.

He looked good against GT, but not against Aggie. I'm not ready to call them a shoe in yet.

I think the weak ACC makes clempson a payoff shoe in. They have no one to seriously contend with outside of possibly UM

Well if Notre Dame does make it, I presume they would be 4th seed. That makes me :-).

Ohio State qb is the difference this year. I think they win the BIG.

Clemson was a shoe in for the playoffs after beating A&M.

Still not worried about Clemson's offense unless, Watson somehow comes back. They won't score more then 20 on the Tide.

I’ve said all season if Bama doesn’t get injured, Tua especially, they will win the Natty with not much problem.

The only thing that could change that was Clemson making Lawrence the starter, or Georgia making Fields the starter.

If they dropped questionable games with an experienced Watson, it can easily happen again. Lots of football left to be played.

Lots of football left to be played....Ed Zackery

This Bama team has a chance but they have to get much better and the schedule is setup for that if they take advantage.

Lawrence would have lost against Tamu and they need Kelly to bail them out. If he is Tua lite, then you are measuring ounces against pounds.

ND and Stanford both are capable of losing to any team on their schedule.

My dream scenario for the playoff this year:

1 Bama vs 4 ND

2 clemson vs 3 Ohio state

Bama vs Ohio state for the title

That would allow Bama to destroy four of my most hated teams in a row.

Barn, Georgia, ND, OSU

"But Bama don't play nobody !"

That whole move, to do just as such, will be derailed if he even just has to leave the game due to minor injury. They have no one behind him at all.

I mean this is a fine prediction, but no one is shoe in at the moment.

Georgia and us still have Auburn who usually improves through the season under Malzahn and @LSU.

Clemson does have a very good shot, but they still have 3 undefeated teams on their schedule- Duke, NC State, and Syracuse. I know those aren't great programs, but keep in mind Clemson, Oklahoma, and Ohio State lost to Syracuse, Iowa State, and Iowa respectively a year ago. Miami will be much more of a threat with Perry at QB too if they make the ACC championship.

Oklahoma nearly lost to Army. They still have Texas, TCU, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, and West Virginia.

Ohio State struggled with TCU and still has Penn State and Michigan.

Everyone's so obsessed with the playoff now. Just sit back and enjoy the season, and quit acting like every non top 4 team is an automatic win.

I could be way off, but I don’t consider LSU a threat to this Bama squad at all. Nor can LSU beat Georgia.

Auburn? Well, If you rate Saban on his time at Bama, he probably rates the lowest on how he handles the Auburn game. So I guess it’s a long shot possibility.

Looking at what Oklahoma has left, I see a good possibility of an upset.

OSU has lost Bosa for a while, so anything is possible. But they have upgraded the qb position big time and a see their not winning the league as a long shot.

I'm not really worried about LSU either, but it's still a road game against a team with lots of talent. I thought we'd route them two years ago in Tiger Stadium, but we really struggled in that game.

I disagree here. Georgia looked pretty pedestrian against a Mizzou team with much less talent than LSU. With all the mistakes Mizzou made, we would have won that game by 4 or 5 TDs.

Remind me who the QB was in that game?

Yeah. LSU can beat Georgia. Georgia looked like arse against Missouri.

No team is a playoff shoo in. Only 4 games have been played. Upsets happen, injuries happen...
