Pretty sure he means ‘da U

They are the only ACC team outside of Clemson that appears to have a pulse this year.

Clemson's schedule means just 1 slip up and they could very well be done. That in and of itself means they aren't a playoff shoe in.

Remind me who the QB was in that game?

Andrew Zow? It was someone who couldn't throw the ball very well.

ETA: Jalen was/is miles better than Zow

we also struggled in tiger stadium in 14 and 12 as well - its a tough place to play - tua will have a bad game at some point, its inevitable. hopefully it isn't on that trip cause they have the db's to take advantage

There have been 4 games, in a 12 game college football season.

I swear college football fans are like 10 second Tom, and every year they forget how crazy things get.

Trevor Lawrence is not ready for prime time. He may be physically gifted, but mentally he is not ready.

And I agree on Notre Dame. They are garbage.

Dabo made the move so that he could develop over the rest of the year. He knew he had no chance with the other guy. He had even less of a chance than we would with Jalen.

Trevor has great potential. Dabo is thinking playoffs.

I agree with notion that Lawrence makes Clemson a better, more dangerous team. I don't, however, think it makes them a shoe in for the playoffs.

They are certainly one of the leading candidates, but Clemson is definitely beatable. They have several issues, from a lack of elite skill players outside, to a so-so RB group, to an under-performing defense. That vaunted front had serious issues affecting Mond when they played A&M. Mond had plenty of time to operate.

Clemson is very good. But so are several other teams.

I hope so, hard to say exactly since we haven't seen it. Plus if his first couple picks and bad half come at LSU, against a great defense, he could get rattled in that environment.

It seems unlikely and I doubt it - but there are saying about horses pulling heavy loads and counting chickens and all i don't like to ignore.

If Lawrence gets injured and has to miss games, Clemson won't make the playoffs.

Obviously injuries can change everything. I thought that went without saying. Apparently not.

River, I think Dabo did what Saban should have done last year. I also think Dabo knew he needed the freshman in January if he was gonna have a chance to win.

Now I am not saying Dabo is better than Saban and I know most of you will disagree since we won it anyway and kept both guys for at least this year but it was huge gamble and he only did it out of loyalty. Most of you see through crimson glasses and won't ever entertain a thought that Saban ever makes a bad decision but imo when you sit in a kids living room and tell him the best play and that he has a legit chance to win a starting job you should mean it and keep your word. We were one half of football and a loss in the championship game away from watching Tua go win the heisman trophy somewhere else and possibly playing against him.

Back on topic, good for Dabo. He made a tough decision and we will see if it pays off. There is little doubt in my mind that had Saban benched Hurts after the aggie game last year, there would have been a similar reaction from Hurts as we saw from Bryant Those are really tough decisions and I am glad it worked out well for us.
