Oats is 3 and 1 vs Tennessee with 3 wins in a row. The only loss was his first year here we lost @Tennessee by one point.

Petty went nuts that game!!

Either Brady Manek was Michael Jordan and we didn’t know it or last year truly was a fluke because UNC SUCKS

That was when Avery was coach. Our loss under Oats was when Galin and Reese got whipped by Fulkerson and we didn’t have Herb
I think we blew like a 15 point lead in that game too

Aggies are a good team and playing well. Losing to Tenn opens up the door for them. Odds are they drop a couple more but if they don’t and we’re 16-1 going into Aggy land who is 15-2 for the last game to decide the conf title(hypothetically)...I wouldn’t feel great considering our record vs Buzz and A&M.
I don't want to celebrate prematurely. But Texas A&M has a tough as hell last 6 games. KenPom has them losing 4 of them next 6. And while they're definitely capable of some upsets, i think they drop at least 2 of their last 6.

Don't shoot the messenger, but there is a rumor going around BOL that Bediako injured his knee yesterday.
ETA: Some dude posted this in the thread about it:
Hopefully it's nothing.

Ok I was told he definitely hurt his knee but not believed to be super serious. Actually said he’s not ruled out for Wednesday yet. Hopefully he is correct.

It was mentioned on TI too. Guy said a meniscus. Hopefully just a rumor

If this is true it would be a minor sprain at worst. He's 7 feet tall, so literally anything affecting stability would immediately rule him out.
That said, this is Alabama basketball so I'm prepared for the worst. frick.

Pringle playing more would not be a bad thing....would it?
Posted on 2/14/23 at 8:14 am to Legionfield
Yes. If his impact was anywhere near what Chuck brings he’d already be playing more. This blows.
Posted on 2/14/23 at 8:18 am to Bryant91092
Pringle is more athletic and more polished offensively...so he will be a good fill in until Chuck is back.
Posted on 2/14/23 at 8:25 am to Legionfield
Pringle doesn't defend the rim without fouling nearly as well as Chuck.
We're lucky to have Pringle to fill in short term if this is a short term thing (as it sounds, at worse), but losing chuck would be a big blow. His presence on both ends allows us to do a bunch of stuff much easier (as the lineup efficiency numbers with him on the floor indicate).

Yes, easily.

No. Not even close.
And the defensively it's just no comparison. Pringle is a freak athlete. If he did the little things as well as Chuck does he'd play more.

No. 3 - Tennessee
No. 7 - Missouri
No. 9 - Arkansas
No. 10 - Texas A&M
No. 10 - Auburn
No. 11 - Mississippi State (Last Four In)
Kentucky is the second team out.

Yeah I’ve been hearing it’s short term but still hate he could be missing the Tennessee game where we actually need him with what Tennessee is going to throw at us.

Here's a cool video about what we do offensively and defensively to maximize and minimize efficiency.
