Did anyone post that our new pregame intro video uses Barkley saying this is the best team in the country? It was a hilarious addition
It's unfortunate the Final Four isn't in San Antonio, we could've added a couple of extra Barkley quotes into our intro.

I kind a wished Nate Oats would've gave Nick Pringle some LOVE in his post game interview because he really saved us in that first half.
He did in the inyerview with Chris Stewart, said he probably should've played Pringle more latebut he didnt because Clowney was playing so well at the end.

Bradley has a better PER, TS%, WS/40, and Turnover% than JQ.
That’s with Bradley struggling a bit with some things some freshman PGs struggle with. And he’s still outperforming Q in those areas.
With Q’s talent, he should be much better than he is. And it’s due to some really stupid shite he does out there.
That doesn’t mean he isn’t valuable as hell late in games and games where Alabama can’t get much going on offense. There are spots where he’s really needed.
Although, Sears could easily handle those situations and is WAY better than JQ in those situations.

Bradley is a true freshman. JQ is in his 5th season
I love Jaden Bradley. I think he's a baller and will be an NBA player in a couple years. But he's adjusting to SEC play and he hasn't looked real confident recently. JQ has too much confidence and tons of experience in the SEC. If the PG doesn't have confidence the rest of the team doesn't have confidence.

No doubt, although Bradley has played just as well in SEC play simply looking at a stats. That might lean towards JQ after tonight.
And it’s great that we have both and they do different things.
What pushes me over the edge to really not like JQ’s game that much is Sears can do pretty much all the things that separate Bradley and JQ’s game. And he does those things MUCH better than JQ.

JQ is best when off the bench, maybe Bradley needs to see a decrease in minutes until he figures it out but I wouldn't mess with the lineup.

Yeah only two games in conference play under 78 with just as many over 100. He hasn't been playing bad. Has JQ been playing better at times? Yes. Which should be the case, JQ is in his 5th season.

That being said, JQ will be the PG more than Bradley going forward if he keeps playing like he did tonight. Both guys were 5 stars but JQ has the experience and has been in big moments.
Bradley is light years ahead of where JQ was as a freshman though and should still play a lot, he is very good.

I love laying in my bed and watching the Field of 68 recap every night before I go to bed. Highly recommend
I like it too, they probably have the best cbb nightly coverage out there. I like some guys better than others, Fanta, Dauster, and Goodman are the best on there. Chris Mack is good when he’s on there.

Miss State played the best zone defense against us since the UConn game. We’ve gotta get better vs zones.
On another note when youre filling out your brackets this year keep an eye on Xavier. They have 5 starters that can each go for 20+ points on any given night. Final 4 potential offense.

11,600 at the game tonight. Our arena is too big

I agree. With two SEC schools in the state, and another good program in UAB the fanbases are spread around . It’s not like Arkansas where there’s only one major bball team in the state.
11 or 12 thousand would be the perfect size imo.

HEAD COACH NATE OATS POSTGAME COMMENTS
"I have to give a ton of credit to Mississippi State. They came ready to play and I thought they had a great plan. They improved more than we improved from the first time we played them. I didn't think we did a great job getting our guys ready to go, and we didn't do a good job attacking them. We didn't start the game the way we needed to, but I give our guys a lot of credit in the second half. We found a way to get a win in a tight game. We haven't had a lot of tight games, so it's not the worst. We have to figure out how to win close games. I told the guys about the SEC Championship tournament from two years ago. We were down 15 to Tennessee in the semifinal and had to figure out how to win games like that that aren't going your way. We shot 18 percent from three tonight, couldn't buy a bucket and still figured out how to beat a pretty good team. I know their record doesn't say they're good, but I think they're a pretty good team and are going to upset some people. They play really hard and they had us down 11 at one point. They're a quality team, and at this point, we'll take the win."

In his post game radio interview, he praised Pringle and said, “I screwed up by not playing him more”.

Going to focus on our next opponent:
How good/bad is Oklahoma - they're 2-6 in conference play but some of those losses are close and they play in the Big 12

this may have been discussed somewhere, if so i missed it. but why arent the students divided in half and seated behind the backboards. there was zero distraction for miss st while shooting free throws. didnt the students use to sit there?
