Some pretty good discussion on the Aztecs on this board, if anyone is interested.

New MBB short clip on Noah Gurley

Going in, who would've thought Gurley would be that spark we've needed at multiple times this season?

So proud of that kid and how he's taken advantage of his opportunities.

I didn't realize Chris Mullin coached there from 15-19. He was one of my favorites to watch from back in the day.

I imagine it's Pitino's last job.

We just need Billy Donovan to head back to Providence and then the Big East becomes must-watch basketball every night.

Probably just because he's a New Yorker to the core, but I can't think of a coach who embodies the Big East more than Pitino despite the fact that he hasn't coached at a "real" (I don't count Louisville) Big East school in 35 years.

Man, I had forgotten how bad that was. Shoot just 50% from the FT line and you are in the Elite 8. Ouch.

Another option for SDSU tickets is to try and buy them from their allotment. Only downside would be if we lose, you’d have to pay for elite 8 tickets.

Is the Birmingham curse considered over now?
yes. I was hesitant to say it after the win over Corpus Christi, but back to back dominant wins including a win over a good Maryland team officially ends that Birmingham curse, imo.

Hope we schedule another good team for the CM Newton Classic next season.

After reading through most of that, I'm not convinced they know anything about their own team, much less ours.

Some of them think they're more athletic and should try to speed us up. LOL.
Some say we don't rebound well.
Some think their team is longer.
Some think they play better defense.
Some think we don't have any good ball handlers.
Some think Maryland was the much bigger team.
Most of them think Brandon Miller got an SOS call, went and stole a gun, loaded it, drove 120 mph to a pending shootout, slid his car in sideways to block the path of men, women and children, before jumping out with an AK-47 and handing it to a hoarde of yet unidentified Bama basketball players, while screaming "kill all them bitches!" which those players did deign to do.

In fairness, I don't pretend to know shite about sdsu. I assume they're a solid team that could beat Bama if Bama doesn't play well. And I assume their metrics are helped out by playing in their sisters of the poor conference.
