Alabama has never had a consensus first team all-american in basketball, correct? With first team AP and Sporting News already in the bag, looks like Miller will be the first.
ETA: Hell now that I'm looking, has Alabama ever had a player make even one publication's first team all-american list? I can't think of anyone right now.

Other than the outstanding performance of the Tide in Nashville, one of the highlights for me was the chorus of boos that reigned down when it was announced that the media had selected the all tournament team. (Before the team was announced)
Although I doubt UA will have the guts to do it, I wish they would install student seating where the media is in Coleman and move the media to the corner part of the current student section.

Yeah, the whole situation is being framed as "but for Miller, Jamea Harris would still be alive" as if the sole reason he was there was to bring Miles his gun. Even though the actual facts seem to be that he was already on his way there to give people a ride and got the text about the gun when he was like a minute away. What people either don't or chose not to understand is that if Miller was at his apartment when Miles sent that text and immediately headed for the Strip upon receiving it, he'd have been arrested. The fact that that text exists and he wasn't arrested speaks volumes.

West Virginia sends teams to the free throw line a ton (#330 nationally), while we draw a bunch (#51). They also turn it over a ton (#270) (though we don't turn people over very often - #318).
