When asked if he received an explanation from the referees, Pearl explained what happened from his perspective.

"Well, I've got to go watch the play," Pearl said. "... There was a pass over the top and three guys kind of tackled him. That play? We're at Alabama, they play football over there in the football stadium. We threw the ball (and) a couple of defensive backs climbed on his back. Then the ball went out of bounds, I guess. I don't know. It was some sort of a scuffle. Our bench stayed on the bench and they had some guys come off, I guess.

IT WAS ONLY ONE GUY BRUCE! LOL

Bruce Pearl lied so bad on this one...JQ never touched his BACK! NICK SABAN would of been super proud of JQ because he HIGH POINTED the ball. JQ had the ball in his right hand while Broome holding his left hand...that's a FOUL BRUCE!

What would the ruling be on this?

It's either a delay of game warning or technical. Usually depends on the ref. Officially, I think it's a tech.

For coach out of the box, first time is a warning. Second is a tech. For contact during live play, should be a tech.

Unless Scheyer deviates from the way Duke has scheduled for as long as I can remember, a home and home will not happen. They don't play road games OOC.

I'd like to try to set up home and homes with Arizona, UVA, or Indiana and maybe try to extend our home and home with Houston for 2 more years because those have been really fun games.

Just depends. They have played Ohio State and Michigan State on the road within the past dew years. It's not often for sure though.

Wouldn't mind seeing H&H with one of Arizona, Michigan, UCLA, or Purdue after that monster graduates. Are they still doing the BIG 12/SEC Challenge next year?

Those were part of the B1G/ACC challenge. I don't count that since they aren't the ones in charge of scheduling it. When it comes to independently scheduling road games, Duke just doesn't. Maybe 1 every 5 years or something.

We've won 2 straight games against NCAA Tournament teams (currently) where

- opponents went 17/30 (57%) from 3PT

Tired legs, and it may get worse Sat b/c we played an overtime game on Wed and A&M played on Tue. Q was the only one with real energy. His limited playing time up to now may be a blessing.

Hopefully we get some rest before the SECT.

My bad. You're right. Missed that. Is the Big 12/SEC happening next season with OU and Texas trying to get in early?

Video

So he had absolutely no idea what happened but delayed the game for 5 minutes to chew out the ref

The douche canoe will probably write an article about it..continuing to spew shite about Miller, the program, and the university...all he has done is keep stirring the pot and making it seem as if it is unbelievable Miller is still playing and that Bama basketball hasn't been shuttered...piece of shite, he is

I have not seen the pic but saw her ask for it. Couldn't believe she did that. Really couldn't believe he was ok with it.

They do. They sit next to each other on scouting trips a lot. Probably a good thing to be honest. Alabama-Auburn becoming what Alabama-State did back during the peak of Gottfried and Stansfield would not be healthy with both programs having some level of national prominence right now.

Yep.

Nothing good comes out of that kind of hostility. Further, basketball isn't football. They can both be good, successful programs and not have any impact on the relative success of the other.

Wimp Sanderson and Sonny Smith got along great at a time they were both winning lots of games and making the tourney on a regular basis.

No, that annual challenge is dead.

The ACC/SEC Challenge starts next season.

Will it be mid season, like the SEC Big XII, or pre season, like the ACC B1G?
