I've sat close enough to Pearl a couple of games to hear alot of what he says and you are actually kind of on to something. He really will yell things like "Jiminy Christmas," "bullcrap" and "son of a ..." but stop short. I mean he is yelling it like he wants to strangle someone but the actual words are usually pretty tame. I think he's really worked on this. It's kind of hilarious

I know I’m late. Catching up on the thread and this has me laughing. I’m not one who has any big issue with him but I can see why he rubs people wrong.

I don't dislike Pearl but good god, get off the f'n court man. At one point in the first half, we were on their end of the court trying to inbound the ball and he was literally on the court in a passing lane. I wish Bradley would've boinked it off his noggin.

What would the ruling be on this? Bradley would be the last player to touch it, but since it bounced off of an object that shouldn't have been on the court in the first place is it just a dead ball and try again?

Lost in all the craziness yesterday but Texas losing and us winning sealed Bham for us

There was a point in the game where Oats was on the floor and Flanagan (I think) was coming back up the court and had to side step around Oats to not barrel him over. Both coaches were very into it last night. I loved it.

Yea I've never seen Pearl/Oats have words or even give each other a look. They must get along pretty well.

The handshake line was very civil for all.

That was the loudest I've ever heard Coleman. What a fantastic game.

They do. They sit next to each other on scouting trips a lot. Probably a good thing to be honest. Alabama-Auburn becoming what Alabama-State did back during the peak of Gottfried and Stansfield would not be healthy with both programs having some level of national prominence right now.

I know this might change slightly but as it stands now it looks like we have the winner of 8 v 9 game (MSU and Arkansas), then if we win the winner of the 4 v 5 game (Kentucky v Missouri) then whoever comes out of other half in the final.
