Don't think it's possible to be anything but a #1 seed now.

The game thread on the CBB subreddit had over 2400 comments. And the post game thread has a shite ton too.
Roughly 90% are people complaining about the refs.
Which, when Bama complained about the refs after the UT game, everyone got told to suck it up.

That's always how it goes. The no calls for UT at their arena are ridiculous.

I think you are right. And I think if we win our next two games, we will probably be the top number one seed. Though that might actually take three games in a row. But I still think it's possible to be the top #1 without winning the SEC tournament.

With our shitty PR department, we are officially the villains of college basketball. You think that thread was bad, wait until we have a close win in the NCAA tournament.

Nope, give me Muss and his whiny set of midrange shooting ball hogs with us on extra rest while they’re playing game #2 in back to back days. Chance to cut the overall series lead down to 2 and fully establish that Nate Oats is Muss’s daddy
Call me crazy but I’ll take the easiest path to an SEC Tournament title possible. If we see them later on then bring it on but I’m all about the easiest path at this point, there’s nothing else to prove against anyone outside of a revenge game against Tennessee.

Oh what a game to see in person!
Finally got home, and can formulate some thoughts.
First of all. This was my first Bama home B-Ball game, and my first Bama game period since spring of 08. When we lost on a buzzer beater @ South Carolina. When AU was coming down the floor with no shot clock and the ball I started having flashbacks.
Coleman was LOUD. Especially the student section. If we could condense that section from the sprawling corner to where it wraps around half of the floor, it would be a HUGE home advantage. And yes, I know everyone has been saying it for years.
Sears is an excellent D1 basketball player, but he is NOT a D1 athlete. He has 100% figured out how he needs to play maximize what he has. But he is a step slow, and when he isn't hitting shots he is a liability.
Bradley is also a liability for the exact opposite. He is a high end D1 athlete, but his skill set is miniscule on offense. Teams are helping off of Bradley, especially with Miller, daring him to punish them, and he can't because he can't shoot.
The refs were not biased, they were just flat out fricking terrible per usual. They missed shite both ways an egregious number of times.
The few Auburn fans in my section were cool. Better than several drunk Bama fans.
Atmosphere was fricking incredible. Can't say enough about it. At its peak, it was every bit as loud as the 2011 LSU game in TTown. Only difference being that LSU was that loud, sustained, for 3.5 hours.
I do wish students would refrain from personal attack chants like "Bruce Pearl is Fat".
Watching this team play was a treat. I especially wanted to see Miller play. Once in a lifetime type player. Especially with the NBA pushing the draft eligible age down to 18. My dad tried to talk me into leaving with 11 minutes left, when we were down by 16, because its such a long drive home(not that far). Told him to suck it up, it's my first game in years, and to trust the team, because we are staying. He, obviously, was glad I insisted on staying.
Nate Oats and staff apparently have the awareness of sloths. Between all of the "I was not aware" statement he's had about Brandon Miller issues, to not paying attention to Griffin and Bediako coming off the bench to cross mid court. Come one guys. I believe in yall, but this is constant appearance of "I don't know what's going on" is not a good look.
Concessions are stupid high for the bullshite you pay for.
Last but not least these last 3 games are FANTASTIC teaching moments for our kids. Learning how to grind out a win against good teams when your shot isn't falling is KEY to a final four run. Especially since I doubt we will have any 50/50 calls go our way with the refs.
I'm so happy I went and was able to experience such an awesome game. Ripping their hearts out was more fun than a blowout.

are Auburn fans blind? That Broome play was a clean steal by JQ. Broome falling over was pulling on JQ and threw the ball off Broome before he stepped out of bounds. Are they blind?

I don’t know if they are blind but they are definitely stupid.

I can understand if they're looking only surface level that at that camera angle they may have not seen Broome holding/pulling JQ's left arm, but wanting a technical for the basketball being thrown off Broome is hysterical. It's like they just discovered basketball 5 years ago.

Crazy how a program can be a traditional power in a sport and it takes the fans like 70 years to notice.

Bruce looks like a grown up Goldberg from Mighty Ducks if he had stuck to cheeseburgers and skipped the meth.
