Alabama's 17-point comeback in tonight's game was their largest comeback that ended in a win since March 11th, 2010, when the Crimson Tide overcame an 18-point deficit against South Carolina in the SEC Tournament en route to a 68-63 win.

How dare Oats not give any time to a reporter who has repeatedly lied about his players in an effort to destroy their reputations. For shame.

This is Bruce's ninth year as HC of Auburn. If my math is correct he is now 9-10 against Alabama while the HC of AU.

14/15 - 0-2
15/16 - 1-1
16/17 - 2-0
17/18 - 1-2
18/19 - 2-0
19/20 - 1-1
20/21 - 0-2
21/22 - 2-0
22/23 - 0-2

AG went 2-0
AJ went 3-6
NO is 5-3

I ask again, why was that douchebag allowed to even be in our athletic complex in the first place ? His media credentials should be taken away. As an alum, I don't want him anywhere near Nick Saban or Nate Oats.

Not surprising. They were face guarding him, grabbing, pushing, etc. all game when we had the ball but he was everywhere defensively.

Rylan and Chuck were probably going bananas watching the game in the locker room.

I refuse to listen to Jimmy Dykes at this point so I was radio again last night. Were their ejections as bullshite as Chris made it sound? I haven't watched the recording yet.

I wonder if Gurley and Welch will get a little more PT to see if we can get them going for the tourney. I think Pringle has mostly taken away Gurley's minutes. But Welch has started to look a little better. We need one of Welch, Griffen, or Burnett to get hot from 3 off the bench.

This team is tough as nails. They don't quit. They have the fight of 1000 Rocky's in them. So much to love about them.

JQ with Lyle Cain. Cain is who operated on JQ after he tore his ACL last March.

Yeah the lack of three point shooting was bad last night. We couldn't hit anything. Sears hitting that one in overtime was the back breaker. Wish that we could've hit a few more in regulation. Auburn hit basically everything they took.

Strictly going by the rule book, I think the ejections were correct. But when you take in the context, I thought it was an unfortunate decision. Hell, Bruce was having to be physically restrained by his assistants and nothing happened to that asshat.

And the auburn folks I see on here and on social media clutching their pearls about “throwing the ball at Broome’s head” are hysterical. JQ was trying to throw the ball off him as he was going out of bounds. That is a basketball play. What a bunch of vaginas.

I thought (according to the rule) that tossing Griffen made sense. He made it all the way down to JQ where the scuffle was. Bediako stopped in his tracks and then found another teammate who was walking away. I didn’t think he needed to be tossed.

Better do it soon.

I know this is probably a bad idea and won't happen and is why I'm not a multi-million dollar coach and there is the idea that we might still need to win Saturday for #1 overall seed purposes. But anyway I was thinking last night as shots weren't falling again, that I wouldn't mind seeing a couple of our guys who have been consistently playing 30 minutes+ the last few weeks to do some "load management" on Saturday @Tex A&M if we had clenched (which we now have).

Miller in particularly has been trending towards playing almost the entire game recently and we've had some high intensity close games and a couple of OT games in there. Sears is another that seems to have really been on the floor a lot. Clowney to some extent too. Bradley and Quinn have kind of alternated and kept each other's numbers down overall.

For the whole season Alabama's depth and playing up to 11 guys real minutes has kept overall minutes down, but the rotation seems to have been tightened up a bit the last month. Would love it if guys like Burnett, Welch, Griffen, Gurley, and Pringle were able to get some extra run on Saturday and/or first game of the tournament. Need one or two of those relaxing early blowout type games. Understand that A&M is probably not the team we are getting that against. But even a loss Saturday in exchange for some fresher legs starting the run next Friday wouldn't be the end of the world.

Started 9 of 11. I cannot stress enough that they are THREE-HUNDRED AND TWENTY-FOURTH in the country in 3pt% and we are 5th in defending it

shite was probably about as likely as Tom Brady taking a QB draw for a 70 yard score

They didn't do a great job, but it was mostly because of the confusion around all of it imo. The media timeout made it more complex than it otherwise would have been.

By the letter of the law, Rylan and Chuck were rightfully ejected because they came off the bench and crossed half court during an altercation. That is a good rule to have in place imo and our guys have to know better. The fact that it happened right when a media timeout started is where it became questionable for some people. But even if there was no altercation, guys don't normally run 90 feet down the court to meet their teammates coming off the floor.

The officials did a very poor job letting the altercation between Green and JQ last as long as it did. Green initiated the whole thing by pushing (softly) Sears out of the way so he could confront JQ. Green got right in his face talking shite and grabbed/tugged JQ's jersey. JQ smacked Green's hands off multiple times before an official ever got there to separate them. If an official had been there to put an end to it right away, Rylan and Chuck would have never even had time to get across half court in the first place.

I'm not sure what JQ did to deserve the tech. Maybe he used some language the official didn't like once he got there or maybe it was the slapping of Green's hand. Or maybe it was just to make a point to both teams. Green 100% deserved the tech he got for initiating the whole thing though.
