Kentucky Absolutely blew it. Tennessee seems fine.

KY doesn’t have A&M money, but when the leader of the most important sport at your school is destroying your program, you find a way. KY still getting SEC money and the new CFP contract would pay back the loan for the buyout in less than 2 years.

4) Brace yourself: Alabama - talent, quad 1 record, and recent trends point to not playing like a 4 seed. Metrics are a bit inflated due to beating bad teams, badly. If we were peak form, we’re a 3-4 seed. But right now we’re playing like a limited 7-8 seed. I give us 50% chance tomorrow, and picked Charleston due to being an emotional hedge.

The more SEC games I watch today, the more concerned I become with Charleston. I was already uneasy.

Maybe not, but there isn’t a single other fanbase that will be rooting for us. Neutral fans and other teams’ fans all root for the underdogs. The only people rooting for Bama will be Bama fans (and possibly some UAB fans), but I don’t think many Bama fans traveled to Spokane given our recent play and lack of defense. I’d wager there are more AU fans going than Bama and UAB combined, but could be wrong.

The auburn fanbase is nowhere near as big as Bama's.

They’ve saved enough money over the years not traveling to bowl games plus they have momentum right now. I fully expect there to be way more auburn fans there

Kansas must be shooting 80% so far against Samford.

If UK does the unthinkable and fires Cal, do we have anything to worry about? I know Oats just signed the big extension but is $18 million enough to keep him?

No, I would look at Tj Otzelberger or Nebraska coach first.

That’d be a $51 million outflow just to hire a new coach in buyout money. I think we are okay

Samford has it down to 3!! Let’s go

Edit: got it to 1 but couldn’t close. Valiant effort against a blue blood, even if they were short handed.

Edit 2: got it back down to 1 and absolutely hosed by the refs with 14 seconds left. All ball block that would have given them a 5 on 4 break with a chance to win. Absolutely horrible game changing call by the ref

I know kentucky doesn't have the patience to break in a star in the making, but this Samford coach might be something special one day!

Refs screwed Samford. That block couldn't have been cleaner and zero contact.

Rumor is that it was a kidney stone.

Are you going to apologize for being a clown and a jerk, if true?
