Imagine if we flipped just one game in the 3 game OOC stretch of doom to a win
We didn’t suck in that 3-game stretch of Creighton, Purdue and Arizona either. We played them tough and it was close games. Even the 13-point loss to Arizona wasn’t that ugly. It was 41-40 at halftime and Bama led by 3-4 points with 12 minutes to go in the game. I wouldn’t be scared to play those games again right now. If ifs and buts were candy and nuts…

Actually thought we played pretty horrible against Arizona, but they played equally as bad. That game was there for the taking.
We competed well against Purdue and Creighton, just couldn't match up with Edey against Purdue and had a terrible shooting night (one of our only ones this year) against Creighton.

Big if true. Did one of the hosts say it or a guest?
Ryan Brown is the one. Those guys are somewhat connected to people at Bama and the Barn, but Last 5 mins of todays show if you wanna go watch.
They said it will be the City of Tuscaloosas arena and Bama athletics will be the main tenant. But other events will be held their too.

There was actually something about this or a similar arrangement on Twitter a week or two ago. I was surprised more people weren't talking about it. I assumed the post must have been bs or something since nobody ran with it.
But, it basically said some entity (I don't think it was the city though) was going to pony up most of the construction costs. And the building would host more than just basketball games.

That’d be cool, have another venue for inside concerts like Coleman use to have.

Fair enough. I think going into ostensibly “neutral” but basically hostile arenas and holding our own vs high quad one teams was badass in December. We’ve done well on the road in SEC play too. I’m getting confident in these guys.

Wonder if that impacts the amount of practice or “in the gym” time the shooters can get vs. Coleman. We’re shooting like 41% from 3 at home, over 10% better than on the road for a reason.

We will probably be in sole possession of 1st in the SEC tonight with SC playing @TheBarn. Wont be mad if SC pulls off the upset though.

I have lusted in my heart. If the gym shorts are $74.99, how much do you think these will be?

The thread title keeps getting updated so he’s still alive. He might just hate the majority of the folks that post in this thread
I am still breathing and definitely still dialed in for every game. I took 2-3 weeks off from the whole site just to get away from it all for a bit. This thread was a shite show of nonsense for a while so it was a good time to avoid all of that and just enjoy the basketball season.

Any clue why we're aren't playing a weekday game this week?

Every team gets a "bye". I think.

Since there is another thread about possible football uniform changes, I thought I would bring to your attention the best looking uniforms Bama Basketball ever had.
And here it is in crimson being warn as a throwback in later years
But it dates back to C.M. Newton and it was the best looking basketball uniform we ever had imo.

Preseason SEC expectations to what has unfolded through this weekday slate baffles me. I have no idea what to expect out of the NCAA tourney in our conference. All I know is I hope we are picked 5th again next year too

Sole place of first with back to back home games coming up after a bye. Unreal. I know our schedule is tough down the stretch, but we are built for that by now

I recall some pretty good looking uniforms back around 1975. Anyone able to find them. My puter skills are limited.
