Yep. This is all about the defense now. We know that Washington had a very good offense. We will have to have a high caliber defensive coordinator.

This is what we currently look like. We are probably going to need to an older guy or two from the portal for depth if nothing else.

frick Little, Ricks and Kite leaving hurts. I get this was inevitable but it’s a damn shame to see that amount of talent walking out the door.

Up to this point I’m pleasantly surprised that more haven’t entered but it ain’t over yet.
I don’t think Kite would ever really play here and Little was gone before Nick retired.
Ricks reclassified and still raw. Hate to lose him but we have guys like Zabien, Mincey and Mbakwe coming in. Assuming they all stay locked in.

Arnold said Kite was one of, if not the, most athletic guy on the team. I think he would have developed nicely with us. Also think Ricks would have pushed for PT or at the minimum been solid depth like Amos was this year (who played a lot down the stretch). But whatever they gone. Next one up.
