Sources close to Washington wide receivers coach JaMarcus Shephard tell BamaOnLine that he is expected to join Kalen DeBoer at Alabama in the same position, barring something unforeseen. The same sources believe that Huskies offensive line coach Scott Huff is also expected to join DeBoer’s Tide staff.

At this point I have no idea why we are saying his name, but I'm not being left out dammit.

Offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb is likely to join Kalen DeBoer at Alabama, BamaOnLine has learned. Grubb has been with DeBoer at Washington, Fresno State, Eastern Michigan and Sioux Falls. Grubb interviewed for the same position with the Crimson Tide last year before deciding to stay at UW.

Playing for Coach Saban had always been dream of mine. I’m forever grateful for him making an impact on my life. I look forward to carrying on the culture, the traditions and the standard that has made Alabama, Alabama! I’m very excited to kick off this new era. #RollTide

YStar = Pow Hound?!?

We get it, you wanted TRob to stay, but we don’t know what went into his decision. For all we know, he was going to leave no matter what DeBoer or Byrne told him. It sounds like he had an offer before Saban retired, and he was told to wait.

Going with a blast from the past here, but you sound like the guys that were pissed when Saban didn’t retain Joe Kines. Is it so hard to give DeBoer and Byrne the benefit of the doubt. Let’s see what happens next.

Not taking up for the guy but, Deboer ain’t Saban and Kines ain’t Trob. That’s facts.
