I think we will see a heavy dose of running from them. We are about to see what kind of run defense we really have. Could be a long day in the trenches. They will try to play ball control offense.

I don't really know what their defense looks like. I expect us to score. However, if they control the clock we might not get a high scoring game.

I just want us to come out focused and ready to rock. Deboer era football hasn't really had that identity. Maybe this year will be better.

I think we win, but not in a blowout simply because of time of possession.

We did it in Athens last year.

What we need is consistency.

Yeah and we didn't score at all in the second half. We've been a miserable 3rd quarter team under DeBoer. That needs to change if we want any shot of winning anything important this season or next.

The long TD run that was called back was in the 3rd I believe.

This is not what Will Sein's offense does. They will move the ball and score. They aren't worried about TOP.

It was indeed, and the 4th quarter score came because we basically let the time run out in the 3rd quarter while we were on the 2 yard line.

Very well could have had two scores in the 3rd quarter.

Ah yes, the phantom holding call. That was a great run.

I think that Russell having his first road start without our best player on O line is a bad combination. I also think that CKD has a tendency to drop games that he shouldn't (not being negative about him, he also is a winner that wins big games).

Combined, I see us having a sloppy game and a scrappy win that will be ugly, but a good character building opportunity. I expect a decent amount of melt from people during the game but in the end I think it will be good for the team going forward.

Uh Jackson Lloyd is starting Saturday

Missing Carroll will hurt but we have adequate cover.

I noticed that Waldrip replaced Sanders late in the 2nd qtr and played the rest of the game.

Was that due to Sanders being injured?

They said he had an oblique muscle injury, I think. That can be very painful.

Mostly concerned about our offense and the crowd noise. Their coach is encouraging their fans to get drunk and be LOUD, LOUD, LOUD. They are treating this like their super bowl. Hope our freshman QB and the O line can handle the noise.

KY throws a bunch of quick short passes. Got to make tackles.

….And, here we go. Since Ty is gone, I’m guessing Jackson Lloyd is your new boogie man and we’ll be reading your wildly irrational rants about him all season. ??

I interpreted it as him saying Jackson Lloyd was our best o-lineman.
