I’ve been visiting here a long time. We’ve seen a lot of wins and a few really bad losses.

Let me lay out a hard fact: This AIN’T the worse loss.

Alabama had a QB issue that is being resolved with Milroe more than likely leaving.

Also a new Coach trying to find his way who inherited these guys. It is very much clear now that Alabama does not have elite players at all positions anymore. They can’t just line up and win on the worst of days.

Gotta live with it and hope for a better tomorrow.

We have more paid shite stirrers here now than actual posters. I wouldn't expect a lot of good conversation.

All the people calling for DeBoer’s head will be surprised next year when they see what he can do with a competent QB.

I know I’ll get downvoted to hell for that statement, but it’s true.

He should’ve had one this year. Milroe should have been benched in the Tennessee game. For whatever reason(s) he wasn’t.

Yes there was a QB problem. That was apparent from TN on.

The question is with two P5 QBs on the bench and Julian Sayin about to start next year in Columbus why something wasn’t done about it.

This was not a 9-4 team. They lost to 3 inferior teams.

That’s a problem.

We aren't calling for his head because he had Milroe. We are calling for his head because he tried nothing else, his game plan was identical to the OU game plan. Dude stands there on the sideline with no clue

Agreed. There's no way this team doesn't look completely different next year unless Milroe returns. People underestimate just how much even the little things matter when it comes to a quarterback who can't make basic plays. That includes playcalling, running game, OL, route tree, etc.

Now, why Milroe was still playing as of 15 minutes ago is a question that needs to be answered, but I'm not worried about next year or the following at this point

Nah. There were multiple amazing play calls today where Milroe never found the open man.

The only true coaching question, in my mind, is why on earth was Milroe playing and why didn't we bring anyone else in after his atrocious start to the game?

I hope the answer is they were trying to let him up his draft stock to assist his effort to go pro.

Agreed!! But DeBoer owns it now. Whatever the consequences from here on out will be directly on his shoulders.

No. We could fire everyone and hire a more competent staff for starters.

And no, this wasn’t a rebuild. He was handed a top 5 roster.

He just needed to bench #4 to unlock it and he didn’t have the balls to do it.

I think you're going to be disappointed when he doesn't have the Milroe excuse anymore. DeBoer is in over his head.

Milroe was not being replaced. Period. Why can’t people see this? The dude (while a shite QB most of the time) kept most of the team there after Saban left.

This year was never going to be a championship team. Period. It was a transition - pure and simple.

Three of those losses were 100% on one player. It's pretty rare that can be said in a team sport like football.

I agree with this. Every coach gets a year to get their bearings. That year is over.

I’m not trying to be contentious, but when you watch tape, you can see guys running wide open. Milroe finding those guys opens up the run game.

I could justify him leaving Milroe in, but I won’t. I know he was just being “the nice guy” since Milroe was one of the more pivotal players that helped retain the roster for KD, but it’s mind boggling why he didn’t bench him at times.

Regardless, Bama will be fine next year.
