The honeymoon is over, and I personally don’t feel like pretending like Milroe’s deficiencies in parts of his game aren’t huge. He’s pulled some rabbits out of the hat this year, but with more consistent play maybe we wouldn’t need him to. It’s like we’ve been trying to make amends to him as a fan base since he was benched but really we need an open competition next year. Maybe he wins, maybe he loses, but the job shouldn’t be set in stone. No offense to him personally, though there was a hint of arrogance down the stretch.

94% of what you saw was on Reese and the center/OL

I saw a lack of awareness on his part on a large number of the sacks as well though. It was a combination that a QB with better pocket presence could have made up for.

I could fill a photo album with all the open receivers Milroe didn’t see the last two games.

Michigan had zero respect for Milroe.

Fumbling on what would’ve been a game ending drive is literally 100% Milroe. We get a few more yards and kick a field goal, all game. I stead he runs around with the ball like a second grader playing two hand touch at recess.

Once you take away his usually under thrown boom or bust “he’s down there somewhere” deep shots, it really takes the shine off his game.

If you think there will be an open QB competition, you don’t know Saban at all. 100% we are stuck with Milroe for 12 more months. Save your money next year or you’ll be upset that you wasted it yet again.

He was getting sacked so fricking fast I HIGHLY doubt you saw many that were him making bad decisions

He would fricking step right into them or run backwards. He moved exactly where he shouldn’t have while under pressure almost every time. I might be being a little harsh, but you can’t say that he did himself any favors either.

Agree, but you and I both know this is bigger than Saban. Simpson should have gotten the position after week 3, but it appears the "team" wanted Milroe so that was that. We have no clue how Simpson would have handled that ole miss game because the decision had already been made, even though he was benched.

Agreed and not sure how anybody could object to at least having a competition. Milroe had a good year but still has plenty of question marks. Persuade Simpson to come back and give him a shot to win the job.

Ill say this...LSU fans were ready to throw Jayden Daniels overboard due to his inconsistent play in his first season. Bama doesnt need Milroe to be a Heisman QB. They do need him to either stop the mistakes or increase the number of explosive plays to negate his mistakes

Milroe’s “give me the f#*&ing heisman” rant at the end of the Auburn game was really weird and out of character…..or was it?

Won't make a difference when your OC won't call the right game, our center won't snap the ball well and our OL won't even allow the QB to complete is dropback

You also open to firing the OC and hiring a new one?

Open to it. Still think Rees had a good year, but open to it if there's a better option out there.
