I dont know if its not right. It may not be legal, but thats not the same as moral. You dont get robbed of 250k and not have some idea who did it. Tampa PD wasnt interested in getting to the bottom of it.
If one of my boys stole 250k and the police didnt give a shite, I'm definitely not going to just let that go. They roughed up the dude who robbed him, then led him to his car and told him to get the frick out of there. Seems reasonable to me.
I'm not saying he shouldn't go to jail, the law is the law, but I get it for sure.

That is inferred by the Tampa PD not pursuing the guys that TA believed stole from him.
I think its wrong to infer that. The justice system doesnt pursue people for a variety of reasons, doesnt mean said poeple didnt do what the thing is. When you got that kind of cash laying around you keep a closed circle. Theres only so many poeple who could frick you over like that.

I mean, the Goodrich story seems like news that should be reported right? Though Al.com is complete trash, their obvious Auburn bias is low on the long list of reasons why.

That would be how I would construe things if I were trying to frick with a charged individual too as a DA.

I can practically guarantee you that no prosecutor has the wherewithal to call the jail up and direct them to psychologically torture someone who was just arrested. Now, the caliber of person working in jails? They'd do that shite in a heartbeat. Take the dumbest, meanest cop you've ever encountered, multiply it by 100, and you've got yourself a county jail staff going.

This could happen but a DA has more important cases and things to do that frick with each individual person that comes into a jail.
There are good people in jail staff as well. Its just like any other job, there are bad people and good people in it.

Sure there are, but corrections probably has one of the lowest proportions of good people of any job in America. Prisons are even worse than local jails. For every decent person who treats the inmate population like fellow human beings you have half a dozen or more sociopaths straight out of the Shawshank Redemption. That entire industry, and an industry is exactly what it is, is designed to be a human suffering machine that slowly destroys people. Our criminal justice system is a disgusting joke straight out of an uncivilized, 3rd world hellscape.

I’d agree these sort of games get played below the sight and direction of a DA but a DA will cover down and protect corrections and peace officers in his jurisdiction like a pit bull in almost every situation unless it is politically untenable (the officer caught dead to rights in 4K).

And just to be clear, I’m not really a defund the police type nor a back the blue type. I just find it funny how around here it is okay to suggest that you can’t trust the state with your money but somehow we’re all good with just trusting the state to a fault with their privilege to restrict our liberty. In both cases, a healthy amount of distrust is good.

I get if we have the facts and the case has been hear but all it takes is an accusation and people here want guys jailed or killed. Then will talk about players as if they give a damn about them if they aren't currently scoring or stopping TDs for their team.
