This sounds like the OJ Simpson (second case) wherein he went with "friends" to reclaim his "property" and got hit with armed robbery and kidnapping.
IF (BIG IF) what is being said is true, the best thing going for him is that he was not physically there. Defense attorney has to try and get that livestream suppressed. Was he physically on the chat with his face, or was he in a text chat? That could make all the difference.
If he did it, he did it. There's a right way and a wrong way to take care of things. $250K is a lot of money, and if they stole from him, he had a right to be pissed, but he went about it the entire wrong way.
Just have to let things play out to find out the truth.
Terrion always seemed like a solid guy in school, but so did a lot of players that got cross with the law once they left the University bubble.

I just read an article that said the victims had nothing to do with the robbery...and that Arnold not only had it live streamed to him, he actually showed up to the scene.
Dude is in some serious trouble...with no one but himself to blame.

If anyone is interested in the complete hearing. Steinberg cooked those cops like Sunday biscuits.

X-Post from the MSB:
In my view, Terrion has three things going for him as far as a criminal defense.
1) No one can put him at the scene -- even in the car outside. The livestream is apparently just hearsay from Bokai saying something to that affect to the setup women. They searched Arnold's phone and found nothing according to the defense today.
2) Primary testimony seems to only come from his two co-defendants who are both convicted felons in exchange for a reduced sentence.
3)Finally, the "beat down" was in response to $250K of property being stolen from all three of the defendants -- not just Arnold. And the theft was reported to the Tampa police prior to the incident. People looking for street justice don't normally get the cops involved prior to engaging in illegal activity.
Defense is going to use the first two points to tear down the co defendants credibility, and that might be enough for several jurors.
Point 3 might be used to tell the story that all three talked about going to get their stuff back and that the driver and barber were the likely culprits. Terrion was asleep in bed while Bokai hatched the plot to curry favor with Arnold and acted alone without explicit instructions.
We'll see, but the prosecution didn't show much today.

Hope so. Seemed like a likable guy during his interviews and stuff while he was at UA and was Miss Terrys favorite player . Hope he wasn’t involved with the other two defendants . It would be terribly dumb if he was. Just like with Phil Mickelson( no crime but still) , how dumb can you be when you got the world at your fingertips

You could give me a thousand guesses of players who were arrested for a violent crime and I would never guess Terrion.
In the initial call he even remarks that his Bible was stolen and that was important enough for him to mention along with 250k of goods.
I don’t fully know what happened but I hope and think he didn’t orchestrate all this. The country is littered with overly aggressive prosecutors throwing shite against the wall and hoping some of it sticks and people facing 25 to life will rat on their grandmother if it gets them a favorable deal.

I can see a situation where he is having a Clark Griswold level blowup over the stolen stuff and who he thinks stole it and Bokai (cousin Eddie) takes that as an order and goes out and does something stupid. We'll find out more in the coming weeks.

I could see that too and I don’t deem it as life in prison worth.
Although He sounded very calm on the call with the investigator so it’s very hard to see going from that to “let’s pistol whip some guys around”. I guess we’ll see. I’ll be rooting for him.

It very well could be statements from his “buddies” and this entire thing rests on that. They could be using Arnold as their fall guy. Time will tell.

Why I love Saban is he always fights for the guys. He doesn't just use and dump.
He wrote a letter advocating to Terrion's character before this incident. Even if Terrion is guilty he didn't just abandon him and I always appreciated coaches who gave me that feeling and not ones that just wants to use you up but not actually have your back when thinga get tight.
Of course my hope is Terrion didn't do this because he represents the university and Saban.

I’ve got about 12 close pals that live in Tampa. I’ve called all of them. If any of them get selected for jury duty Terrion is going home

He has done all he could for Ruggs as well. He uses Ruggs’ story a lot when speaking on leadership.
