News outlets are reporting that prosecutors have the group texts of Arnold discussing, organizing, and participating in the kidnapping/beat down. If true, he's cooked. It's just about what kind of plea he can negotiate at that point.

It doesn’t sound good but he categorically denies any involvement in the episode.
I’m surprised, actually shocked and saddened if the charges are true; when he was at Alabama he was very personable and seemed bright. I didn’t know him except from a distance through public interviews and what his teammates thought about him.

If these allegations are true, he’s serving time in jail. The narrative the state puts forth suggests that Arnold had some items in his house stolen, identified the wrong people, and had his friends hold them at gunpoint. It’s beyond dumb that anyone in his situation would think that they could get away with that crap.

Maybe because we are not a court of law and public perception does not require someone to automatically assume innocence. I mean if I witness a crime the suspect is still assumed innocent until trial but that doesn’t change the crime I witnessed.
Edit to add I’m also assuming you mean convicted not charged because he has already been charged.
