Can a sunshine pumper convince me that despite losing Q, that our pass rush will be better than last year with Allen, Terrell Lewis, Enoma, etc? We didn’t get a whole lot of pressure on either Fromm or Lawrence

Bama played the entire year last year without their top two pass rushers, Lewis and Allen. In the NGC, Miller was out, so their top 3 pass rushers were out. Lawrence had all day to throw because Bama had no pass rushers.

You may not have Q but across the board we will be better. So pressure from more than 1 area. From what I’ve seen in Dale he’s a beast.

You also can’t ignore the addition of Sunsieri.

How does Alfano look?

And how is the OL shaping up? Will Neal be LT? Should be a very good OL.

I finally reviewed the game the other day (drive by drive not the highlights cuz Frick that)

Bama had 215 yards in the 1st quarter and averaged over 50 yards a drive for the first 9 drives. But had 5 possessions past midfield (4 of which were at the Clemson 22 or closer) that led to a total of 3 points. It easily could have been a shootout and will likely be one if we get them this year

Neal has seen time at 1 and 2 string OG spots.

Q wasn't the same player after the Furman chopblock either.

I don't believe Coach Kool was healthy either. I don't believe we got his best last season, which isn't his fault

In the last few games last year besides those who were out you had IBuggs who was less than 50% and Q who was nicked up too. I keep harping on DLine rotation and I believe Bama will have the talent and coaching this year for an effective rotation. This Dline / OLBs will be better. Anoma will be impactful and Alfaro will learn and add impact too

Yeah...I kept noticing last season Aaron Suttles kept dropping hints about Coach Kool. What was wrong with him?

I don't know for sure, but I believe it's heart issues. It's strange for a coach with his reputation to be out of coaching this season

That6 and the loss of Jeremy Pruitt as our DC was a killer. JP was a great DC.

Lawrence certainly wasn't upset about Savion Smith letting his man run free all night either.

That was really it. Our defense was only as good as Savion in single coverage. Lawrence went to that side every single time if possible. Savion got embarrassed, faked an injury, declared for the draft. The team really jumped him after the game, Q hinted at it after the game etc. our O stalls in the red zone combined with that sealed our fate.

70 and 74 are your tackles. Obviously once Wills recovers.

Owens at Center

Corn at guard when his suspension is over but Neal is doing well.
