about the state of Saban's career if both coordinators return next year?
It’s obviously clear to us and all of college football that he has to make changes but what if he doesn’t?

Not much we can do but to hope for the best.

Would not be happy knowing that we'd all be back to talking about the good old days.

I suppose it has to happen at some point, but hope we could hold it off for a few years.

I'll just manage my expectations for the foreseeable future and expect Citrus and Steak Bowls.

There's 1 thing BAMA fanbase unanimously agrees on.
It's the hopeful departures of Pete Golding & Bill O'Brien.
The hope is Saban is still as hungry, motivated as he was when he broke the tie with the Bear back in 20.
And will get the players better coaching.
Otherwise, talent like this year will continue to be wasted, missing playoffs.

Saban isn't keeping both coordinators, but if he did and kept singing their praises, its gonna be a painful Bowden repeat and the program is going to slide in time.

I mean........I'd not have a whole lot of optimism but I'd go to games and cheer like usual?

Not much I can do about it.

If he doesn't, it's back to the Shula days but with a new and unimproved shitty defense...

I'd be pretty surprised if we went 6-7 next season, with or without BoB and Pete.

2 plays from being undefeated.
3 plays from having 5 losses with elite talent.
So probably damn lucky to finish with only 2 losses. Lol

With 1 more to go. And who knows what to expect 11am kick, who'll be left to represent us.
Just hope we bring the effort & fight no matter the situation.

I have no reason to question Saban at this point, the man has proved time and time again he can adapt with the game.

I will say this... I will be absolutely shocked if BoB or Golding come back. BoB was always moving on, Golding is finding other opportunities as we speak.

I would normally agree and he deserves the benefit of the doubt, but he did hire BoB and Pete...and kept them multiple seasons.

We can hope for a better choice and outcome.

It is what it is and Saban is allowed to do what he thinks best. He is what 2 seasons away from 300 wins and I would think once he gets another NC he will retire. He seems the type to go out on top. If that is the case the program will be in great shape and we should be able to get a great hire.

I wish whoever we hire on either side of the ball, assuming we do, they are a likely candidate to replace Saban. Just my 2 cents.

I'm all for that. Sounds like a good plan.
