John Doe is supposedly going to make a video of the political implications of the Jalen Hurts situation and how it has been handled. I have no idea where that video will go as far as commentary. But, he said this in the comments section I believe of his last video.

Like he only uses the names of colors? I don’t get your jab.

I thought he sounded intelligent. He sounded like he was basically the spokesman for that football league in Birmingham. So proud of the guy.

You have links to where I have "hollered and cussed" about this?

Anyway, "hollered and cussed" just sounds ignorant as all hell.

If Tua stays healthy and Bama is in the playoffs he will be the Heisman champion.

Someone doesn't know when the Heisman is awarded.

And the Heisman is hype based. Look at the last 20 years. Almost all of the winners other than Ingram had eye popping stats and were hyped by the national media.

If we continue to blow people out, Tua will be in the middle of the pack for ypg and TD's.

It’s awarded prior to the playoffs. And yes I know when it’s announced. After the conf title games We will know Bama is in the playoffs or not

You honestly believe Hurts starts anywhere in America?? How about just the SEC?

Georgia - No
Kentucky - Maybe
Missouri - No
Tennessee - Maybe
Vanderbilt - No
South Carolina - No
Florida - Yes

LSU - Maybe
Auburn - No
Texas AM - Maybe
Arkansas - Yes
Mississippi State - No
Ole Miss - No

I am not saying he is terrible, but for us to tell other fans that we have two best QBs in the country is just wrong.

I personally only see 3 SEC schools he would start at.. the kid has great legs. He has a heart of a lion, but stack the box and make him read coverages and it’s game over. People forget the talent Bama had around him covered some flaws. Bama’s talent could have made Spencer look decent

Put Jalen in GT offense and he would be unreal. I think he would be scary in a Chip Kelly offense. UCLA would be a great place if he decides to transfer or send him back to Kiffin. I personally hope he stays.. but that’s just the selfish side of me

Nobody is disagreeing he will fit certain systems. He is a decent college qb.

Just trying to dispel this belief that Hurts can start anywhere in America. When bama fans spout this off to other fanbases, just makes us look worse

He definitely would start for Tenn, LSU, and would be better in AU's offense than Stidham. He's also at least as good as Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald cant pass against elite defenses, just like Hurts. OM QB is good against bad defenses, I'd rather have Hurts than him. Same can probably be said about a few other teams QBs that were listed as a 'no.'

I completely agree with you on UGA, and Missouri.

Other kids on this team that aren't starters see Tua being great and yet he is constantly taken out in the first half, and replaced with a QB that regardless of team spirit is still under performing, that hurts their spirit because they aren't getting the same special treatment as Jalen even though they practice just as hard or harder. Maybe it's the Army in me but I don't believe in special treatment, I understand loyalty to someone but this isn't that, this is special treatment and I guarantee you those boys see it. Tua needs more game time, he is young now and this is the best time to make him better and better, he is being under utilized, allowed to do just enough inside his current bubble and that's it, let Tua play the game, let him grow.

I disagree on Fitzgerald, he is just as good runner and a sightly better passer.

I can see the argument for Auburn, he is not as good as Stidham, but in that system.

However, if you make that argument then he is definite no for Ole Miss due to the system they run.

Lsu is a maybe for me. Burrow better for their offense right now though.

Tennessee I can go either way.

That's fair. I guess I haven't watched enough of Tennessee this year, because every time I've turned them on, their qb has looked like garbage.

the same special treatment

There are about five of you who have said this, and it's patently stupid.

Tua needs more game time

By all means. Lets risk injury to our best player while we're up by four or five touchdowns because "fans" think it's unfair to let the second team guy come in.

this is special treatment

It sounds even dumber when you say it twice in the same post.

Good lord. He has only been taken out when we he has put us up three scores. Hurts hasn't gotten special treatment. Y'all act like Jalen is completely awful. He has looked good as the number 2 guy in relief of Tua. If you think that Hurts going in "hurts their spirit," I don't even really know what to say to that. You literally have no basis or evidence for saying that.

Tua is fine. What have you even seen that makes you think that he isn't "growing" or "developing?" Your tune would change real quick if Tua got a season ending injury while we are up by 28 + points. Some of you folks need to get a grip.
