Stidham has already proven he is better.. He has less talent and beat us. Jalen couldn’t get the ball in the play makers hands, all they did was stack the box and put a spy on him.
Fitz is about to break Tebow’s rush record and throws decent. He kept a less talented team toe to toe with us. LSU has already tried the Hurts experiment it was called Jordan Jefferson. They are better with a QB who can open the box and be able to run.
I like Jalen but he needs a team that runs bubble screens and one route reads.
Saying all that I hope Jalen stays though.. he knows our offense and gives good back up time. I would much rather have an experienced back up than a 10 play freshman who doesn’t know the play book.

Sorry if I offended you by pointing out that you posted inane drivel. I probably would have just ignored it, but there seem to be a lot of you posting the same stupid line over and over.

As far as an injury goes I suppose it could happen, will it? Who knows but I do know that for all his worth he hasn't been allowed to have most of a game, you bring up his scores....is it his fault he is so good? Just because he does what he is good at he should be pulled before the half? What is so bad about giving the kid till the 3rd? Oh that's right Jalen is a "good" guy with "heart"...you know, like most of the other kids on the TEAM, it is special treatment and until you prove otherwise I along with others will call it what it is.

So you make a dubious, unfounded claim about our poor players spirits, even though there hasn't been one single thing expressed by any of our players to back that up, and WE are the ones that need to prove that you are wrong? Brilliant.

FunkyTide is right. You guys are insane. I honestly hope this is just an elaborate troll and you're pretending to be dumb to bait normal people.

If we're already up four or five touchdowns against a team that has no chance to score? You're damn right he shouldn't be in the game.

Because it's stupid to put your MVP in a game that's already decided. Ask dumbass Mike Shula how stupid you look as a coach when you lose your starting QB or end your best receiver's career because you wanted to play them in garbage time.

Sounds like this is more of a personal issue you have with Hurts, rather than any kind of intellectual thought process. It makes you seem childish.

Let's be honest, he is fundamentally bad as a passer,he constantly doesn't look at wide open players and instead runs right and throws it away, runs right and throws an incompletion. Hurts is at his ceiling as a QB and teams have figured him out, what do you notice when he comes in? Teams stuff the box and force him to throw, he has the same receivers as Tua yet he can't hit them he makes a good throw every now and then but that isn't good enough.

You have apparently never been a part of a team of any kind that had any real integrity or you are simply being ignorant, do we need a SI cover to state the obvious?

Well, there’s a good and a bad. Good thing is we’ll have 2 good QBs all year in case of an injury. Bad news is this likely eliminates any chance of Tua winning the Heisman, bc Saban will take Tua out late in the second or early third quarter every game

How? If Tua's up by 30 in the 1st half, he's still taking him out for Mac Jones even if Jalen wasn't there.

I think he provides Tua the support he needs to be successful. I also think Tua advocates for Hurts to play as much as possible. Hurts probably is the most important person on the team. I think if he leaves Tua might have trouble cause he will miss Jalen. I mean look at the support Jalen provided Tua in the championship game in the gif below. That is special and thier bond is unbreakable.

Which is precisely why he is the #2 QB. No one is arguing that. Again, you have no real basis for your claims that putting our second string QB in the game during garbage time "hurts the team spirit."

I know that you are semi-trolling( ) but does anyone else find it funny that a faction of our fans have wayyyy more of a problem with the "situation" than the actual QBs involved with it? Both Tua and Jalen have shown nothing but class and teamsmanship, yet people insist that there is some kind of controversy.

Eh had looked better than last year. Don't think Hurts would have done much better for Tennessee yesterday. Not sure anyone would have..

It's really simple and doesn't require 8 pages but, Jalen loves the team, doesn't want to leave and decided to stay.

Amazing how those people still hate him and thw kid is even sacrificing and not being selfish.

They still are obsessed and mad anytime he plays... I really don't get it.

He isn't even being a cancer and has accepted Tua is the man.
