No, nothing comes to mind, but I am a bit groggy today. I guess I would add the caveat that they win the job, not get it by default because someone got hurt as that happens more often than winning the job outright.

**I mean, of course Jalen Hurts, but that was almost a decade ago and he wasn't the starter initially.

Bammer is probably correct. I will be up in the air until game week of the 1st game of the season.

Sometimes I wonder if people who post things like that are trolling. Otherwise, they are just totally insane. This site pays people to troll people to keep the traffic flowing.

If you think that's the case and you want to see insanity, hunt you a mirror. You get all huffy because someone posts something you don't like.Son, its only a chat room. Step away from the ledge.

The guy that's predicting Bama will have one QB on the roster after spring practice is also saying this.

At this point I don’t even know why anyone would recruit and pay NIL money to a QB straight out of HS, unless they are a once in a generation talent. Why not just wait and get someone more proven that has a couple years college experience out of the portal and not have to worry about all the nonsense that comes with paying someone right out of HS.

I'm pretty happy we recruited and paid NIL money to Keelon Russell

If he had been on the team this year, would Milroe have seen the bench?

Good grief, do yall really think Deboer is gonna start a true freshman in his critical second year at Bama? Simpson and Mack are good players. It wouldnt matter if freshman Mike Vick were coming in, hes not gonna start the season

It really doesn't matter.

Most of the time if your QB1 goes down, your season is over anyway so focusing so much on QB depth is kind of pointless in a way.

In the NIL era you can always go out and grab a QB pretty easily. If Keelon Russell wins the job, and every other QB decides to leave, who cares? We'll have an elite QB for 3 years, and we can hit the portal for depth if needed

Great point actually. Not saying KR wont see his day at Bama, it would just require the failure of am upperclassman and promising sophmore to get to that point in his true freshman year

There's an article talking about Grubb for an analyst role at UCLA. I don't see it happening. Tino Sunseri is the OC for UCLA.

I didn't realize that Deboer hired him as the run game coordinator to begin with. Wish he would come to Bama to help with the line and run game in some sorta role

So?
So did Rhett Bomar, Asiantii Woulard, and Blake Barnett.
