I actually did ask my doctor. He said he’s been vaccinated and recommends we all should be. My daughter is a RN and sll her family have been vaccinated.

Seriously, ask the doctor and your daughter how many hospitalized patients are obese. I’d like to know the number of obese patients compared to Covid patients and how many are obese and have Covid. If we need to fight anything, in America, it’s obesity. Nobody wants to hear that

Good deal.

I was ordered to take mine by a potato who hasn't held a real job in almost half a century.

I still find it hilarious that China has only had 96,000 cases and 4,300 deaths and we're still wearing fricking diapers on our face to fight over the last package of toilet paper at the Dollar General.

Additionally, there was a high risk of bias in many of the studies, particularly with the ones showing mortality benefit, as the level of certainty is low in them.

What happened to 0.000000673% chance of doing something as long as it saved a life?

What do you think?

I have said all along they are 100% responsible for this bullshite and they should pay.

But in the beginning it was all "Orange Man Bad, don't blame China" yet here we are 9 months after he left office and nothing has changed.

What happened to, if it's not 100% effective it's worthless?

In the studies I've read in actual science journals (that haven't been retracted), the conclusion has been:
quote:

...compared with SOC or placebo, IVM did not reduce all-cause mortality rate, LOS, respiratory viral clearance, AEs, or SAEs in RCTs of patients with mild to moderate COVID-19.

With that said, I'm all for continuing to have scientists study its effectiveness in the hopes that someone will definitively prove it helps, even if it only helps 0.000000673% of the time.

Nothing in life is 100% effective.

I do as well.

It sucked having Chicken Pox as a kid. I'm grateful as frick I didn't have to deal with it as a parent.

But it was my choice to vaccinate my kids, not mandated by an administration trying to win political points.

This should be no different. If you want to get vaccinated, rock the frick out. You want a wear a mask? Right on.

But don't force me to do something I don't feel is necessary. I've made it abundantly clear that everyone in my family had the virus. We survived and have the best protection against a potential re-infection. We're good. We don't need your mask or vaccine (even though I'm vaccinated). Thanks.

Yeah, because a bunch of TikTok videos that were mostly filmed well over a year ago tell the story of what's happening today. Another brilliant, brain dead retort.

Of course you brush off that pitiful behavior.

So it was beneficial in over HALF the studies, but it is considered ineffective?

He's being misleading anyway. The states will still be giving it out, because it's working. They've removed it from the "suggested protocol" before.

Same. It's clear we don't have one yet.

If only 43% are fully vaccinated it won’t make much difference anyway.

How are they supposed to work when half the people on this board alone won't wear the mask and won't get the shots
