Due to some complications my wife is about to have to deliver our son via c-section at 27 weeks 4 days. Any and all prayers would be appreciated.
Update: Thank you for all your prayers. Mom is resting comfortably after surgery and baby is being taken care of in the NICU. He is 2 lbs 10 oz at 27 weeks 4 days. Everything seems good so far.

Ah man - I know those feelings. Prayers sent and just know those doctors and nurses are the best at what they do. You'll get through it and have something incredible at the end.

Praying for y'all. Our second is coming in August and my wife slipped on ice in our driveway 3 weeks ago and broke her fibula and compound fracture to her tibia. Shes non weight bearing for another 8 weeks. Send some prayers our way if you can too.

My gosh that is awful - did she dislocate her ankle, too?
I had a very similar injury in high school football where I planted my foot on a wet field, had a safety land on it and it snapped (snapped fibula, broke tibia). Put a plate on the outside of my upper ankle on the fibula and a pin across my upper ankle, was non-weight bearing for 6 weeks until they took it out.

I’m praying for you. My wife and I had a similar situation with our twins that had to be delivered early.
Those NICU nurses and doctors know what they are doing and will take excellent care of your son. It’ll be scary for you to begin with, but you and your family will pull through it. My kids are 18 now and you would never know they both weighed less than 3lbs when they were born.

Yep she's got a plate on her ankle and it was a sprial fracture to the tibia. Rod in her leg and nail that went through her knee so she can barely bend it. It's going to be a really sucky next few months.
