Thanks for letting us know RT33 and mrlewis. Will definitely keep your families in my prayers.

I second the comment about NICU staff, they are the best!

Keep us updated please.

My son was full term but also an emergency c-section. You'll be spending a lot of your time in the hospital. Don't feel guilty about napping or taking a mental break. No one there is going to judge you for going outside for a walk and some fresh air. Try to relax as much as possible. The doctors and nurses know what they're doing and you're in good hands. Good luck.

Same happened to us with our first. That was in June 2020 and I was the only visitor allowed and couldn't leave the hospital. Our son had some breathing issues after a couple of completely sleepless nights so when they took him to the NICU we were able to get some rest finally but the whole situation sucked.

Those NICU nurses and doctors know what they are doing and will take excellent care of your son. It’ll be scary for you to begin with, but you and your family will pull through it. My kids are 18 now and you would never know they both weighed less than 3lbs when they were born.

This right here. I have great things to say about the NICU staff at Brookwood hospital. They were fantastic.
