Understanding that there could be some more portal changes, and that it’s possible some coach may defect…

With year two along with the removal of offensive limitations and the discipline rebels, the expectation is that we’re in playoffs next year. Agree or no?

Tough schedule … will be a battle with a new QB and key pieces going to NFL. Optimistic though . I think we will be better at WR (provided no more departures ). OL needs re tooling

Having no QB with any meaningful experience is not the best, unless Alabama goes and gets a portal QB. 5 road games are going to be tough. LSU and Tennessee will be tough at home.

Anywhere between 7-5 and 10-2 most likely.

If we don’t make the 12 team playoff next year, the program will melt down from the Boosters down to the Walmart fans. It’s not just DeBoer, the program NEEDS to right itself.

Tough schedule with a new QB. We’re paying KDB $11 million a year to figure that out. Yes, the expectation is to make the playoff.

Really not beating the troll allegations by saying 7-5 when returning most of the defense and offense

Year 3 is when I will set expectations. He runs an entirely different system than Saban in both sides of ball. Needs his QB. I’ll know how much better this team will be next fall when we see Proctor report for fall camp. If he’s still fat and slow we’re screwed. That will also tell me how well DeBoer has control of the players.

No. DeBoer has made it so Bama isn’t getting the benefit of the doubt. 10-2 probably gets in, but I don’t expect Bama to get to 10-2 next year. At UGA, at AU, at South Carolina, at Mizzou, plus Wisconsin, Vandy, LSU, Oklahoma, and Tennessee? 2 losses would be shocking. Shocking.

The defense will keep 'Bama in games early if necessary while the new QB gets their bearings.

The running game should be strong with a veteran Jam Miller leading the way, and guys will be schemed wide open like they were all damn season.

So, whoever starts at QB will have plenty to work with. 'Bama fans should be excited for what's coming.

Undefeated #1 seed in the playoffs. Easy walk to the natty.

We literally have no idea what the roster will look like in 2025. It’s January 2nd. Way too much can and will happen before FSU. Anyone coming out with predictions probably thought that we’d beat Vanderbilt easily.

Yes, my expectation is that we make the playoffs.

If we don’t, it’s not a killer if we are prepared as we should be in all 12 games and execute and compete as we should in all 12 games and simply come up short in fair fights against opponents who execute and compete a little better than we do.

Another Oklahoma repeat as far as a complete failure of preparation cannot happen and IMO is going to be a severe wound shot if not close to a kill shot if it happens again.

As long as the spirit of Milroe doesn't inhabit our new quarterback, I don't see that happening.

If quarterback play is at least consistent, I think we make playoffs. I expect the defense to be much better next season. Lot more experience coming back on that side of the ball. I think we’ll be fine at 4 of the oline spots, but we really need to address right tackle. Maybe one of the freshmen will take it, or a player like Formby will more than likely improve. I think we’ll be really, really good at the skill positions next season.

Just my opinion of the floor, 7-5 and ceiling, 10-2.

I don't see Alabama beating Georgia and Auburn on the road next year, I can see Alabama beating everyone else and going 10-2.

However, with no experienced QB, I could see Alabama losing to Georgia, Auburn, FSU, Tennessee and LSU. Missouri and SC will be tough road games.

It's a tougher schedule then Alabama had this year.

I'm not sure the last time Alabama was in a QB situation like this, maybe 2014?

You’re saying that Bama, who’s still probably at least a top 5-10 team based off of talent can’t possibly win more than 10 regular season games. I think 10 games is probably where Vegas will have us, but to say that’s our ceiling is a little pessimistic or shortsighted

I don’t see it honestly. Hope I’m wrong but it’s a tough schedule. I could see us losing to GA, SC, and either LSU or Tennessee. Honestly any away game can be a toss up at this point with how ill prepared we looked anytime we were away from home. The barn could be a pesky one too.
