I think BOB will find a way out. It’ll be similar to Nuss. Probably would be fired, but Saban will give him the chance to move on gracefully. Golding, however, probably isn’t going anywhere, but I’d love for the staff on both sides to be wiped, as well as STC and S&C:

DC/Safeties - Jeremy Pruitt
Associate DC/ILB - Lance Thompson
DB’s - Derrick Ansley
DL - Bo Davis
OLB - Sal Sunseri

S&C - Aaron Feld

OC - AJ Milwee
QB’s - Derek Dooley
WR’s - Holmon Wiggins
OL/Run Game - Brent Key
TE’s/Pass Game - Todd Hartley
RB’s - BRING BACK BURTON BURNS

Special Teams/Assistant HC - Mike Reed

See what we’ve done this year makes you realize and appreciate just how fricking good we were in 2009, 2011, 2012, etc… especially 2012, was just thinking about this team the other day. They’d beat anyone by 10 or more in this CFB season.

Golding will be back due to no other winning organization, college or pro, wants that loser as their coordinator.

I'm afraid so, and he's the biggest issue with this program.
Ever since his arrival our defene has been dogshit, and this program was built on defense

S&C - Aaron Feld

Aside from a stupid fricking mustache, what have you seen from this guy or the teams he's trained that makes you want him to run the S&C program at Bama?

Were you really that impressed with the strength and conditioning of Oregon's teams?

I unfortunately agree, but there's a better chance Golding is an NFL HC next season than Saban hiring even 1/3 of that proposed staff. No chance in hell Sankey lets anyone in the SEC hire Pruitt as an analyst, much less an on field coach. Lance Thompson? What the frick is he bringing to the table now that pay for play is within the rules? Sal and Burns are retired. Davis got fired over some minor recruiting violations because he lied to Saban about them.

And Saban will not fire him/tell him to find a job elsewhere.

golding will be driving for postmates. Spoiler, there's a decent chance your sandwich won't be able to get off the field on 3rd and 7.

I think both will be back. I just don't think Saban really cares to fix it. He doesn't have the fire anymore.

I think he brings the modern edge to S&C, but has that Scott Cochran-type hype that would be good energy for our sideline and daily motivation. If you’re still doing things in S&C from five years ago, you’re behind. He’s evolving, but is keeping that old school feel. I feel like we have the modern-edge coach now, but he’s like a puddle of mud on the sideline. Feld is also very process-oriented in his approach to developing athletes in the gym, which would seemingly fit the Saban mold (see 2014). With the extension of Cristobal, Feld’s time at Alabama and his connection to Cochran, I believe everything is there to make him a good fit. I say all of that to say this…it’s the stache.

If he is back next year, I will totally change my view of any optimism. He has no business being on any college staff, even as a position coach, much less a coordinator.

Lance Thompson is a great linebackers coach. Knows the game extremely well. Sal is on staff right now, just in an off-field capacity. Obviously Burns is retired, but I’m sure he would be willing to come back and help out for another couple years. We need an analyst protege to learn under Burns. He’s the best running backs coach of all time, IMO. It could be surprising on the Pruitt front. Ya never know.

Pruitt- not happening under any circumstance unfortunately.
Bo- higher ups have told Saban no go. Maybe now’s different?
Sal- semi retired, ain’t coming back to on field capacity.
Feld- could have got him few years ago, Saban wanted the “new age” guy we got now.
Key- left for a lateral job for a reason.
Burns- 70 and retired.

I want giant changes too but some of these names I’ve seen being thrown around this morning ain’t realistic.

This quote seems to ring very true for the program right now.

I don't understand this. Why does it matter if other problems don't want him? Pay the man his money and fire him. It's not a jobs program, and he's not getting Jimbo money. I would guarantee that if it came out that money were the issue that Byrne could get that in under an hour

I don't understand it either. This is very easy fix. Saban seems so worried about his image and being PC. Between caring about Golding's feelings and the betterment of the players/program, its the players every time. Golding is walking away a millionaire so who cares......In #31 post game interview, he said effort is not the problem. By deductive reasoning he is basically questioning the coaching.
