Since Bama is now the most penalized team. Does anyone have a breakdown of these penalties. How many on offense and defense?

Read this on another board (just this past game). Looks like the team is spreading the wealth.

1- Block in the back: kickoff return
2- Holding: Steen
3- PI: Arnold
4- Holding: kickoff return
5- Holding: McClellan
6- False start: Gibbs
7- Delay of game
8- PI: Branch
9- Offside: Latham (Jah-Marien)
10- False Start: Latham (JC)
11- Holding: Brockermeyer
12- Delay of game
13- False start: Latu
14- PI: Branch
15- PI: Moore
16- False start: HOlden
17- (haven't found this one)

I can't get over the amount of giddiness and hate out of people. I know we have won all these years. But Tenn, other fans bases, and the media and going absolutely NUTS!!! I mean, Tenn won, but calm down. Its just one game. We have an entire season to go. You'd think Tenn kidnapped Saban and Young and are holding them hostage as our national title trophies are being stolen from the Bryant Museum. The media is at pandemonium levels. I still haven't figured out how a #6 ranked team storms the field like they won the national title.

People still like an underdog and every program in America was cheering against us. It is what it is friend. We will be back. Just win out.

At least I thought I read this somewhere.

Because we’re pretty much everyone’s national title game

Reminds me of that statistical analysis a Michigan fan did a few years back when their fans suspected they were getting an unfair shake on holding calls. He found that they were a bit of an outlier, but there was another far further outside the bounds on the scatter chart in terms of opponent holding calls. I'll give you 3 guesses which team it was.

If any team has ever had a legitimate reason to blame the officials it's this team. It's gotten so far out of control.

The numbers back it up. Saban is the greatest coach of all time. He's known for instilling discipline and making sure guys play the right way with perfect technique. It makes no fricking sense how year after year we're the most penalized team AND perhaps more telling, we get the least amount of opponent penalties.

The refs need to be reprimanded.

I think Tenn got too high for the game and the win. It could bite them in the azz. Especially if we face them again.

In my 50 plus years of life, it's always been a big deal to beat Bama. Even during our Shula/Dubose era. I'm glad for that.

I’ve seen that study for years and here’s my question: What are we doing about it? If those stats are true (and I have no reason to think they aren’t) then why isn’t someone from our AD raising absolute hell at the SEC Office?

Truth. I remember in 1997 where we were I think 4-7 during the year we had two teams' students rush the field. Kentucky and Auburn. I kind of understand the Kentucky one because we had beaten them a lot even though we didn't play them every year, but I have no clue why Auburn still decides to rush the field in Iron Bowl wins. Shouldn't they be used to that by now?
