Right. Signing a bunch of 3*s and coaching em up doesn't win in this conference considering your competition is recruiting a bunch of top 100 recruits and coaching them up equally well. DeBoer is a good coach, but I just don't see him being a good fit in the SEC. That's just my opinion though and like I said before, a bunch of people likely said the same thing about Saban when LSU hired him.

He has no ties to the Deep South. Saban was an exception when he went to LSU. Alabama needs someone who understands the rivalries, fan bases and how to recruit the southeast.

Big mistake imo. Might not get another chance at the Bama UGA or Texas jobs which I think are the 3 best jobs along with Ohio state but he’s a good young coach maybe he will turn Oregon into a Big 10 power

Deboer is a winner. I don't know how he would do at Alabama, but his track record is pretty good so far.

My fear with Sark is it's raise related and his agent is trying to get more money from Texas. I'd love Sark, though.
