Need the best RB's available.

It's the only thing lacking this year. I like Hill but he's no Lacey, with the spin move plus the hard licks.
Bama, Debore has to get the best players. It's what Saban told us when he came. The players win games. Coaches lose em with too much thought.
I hope we can average 4 to 5 yards a carry. With 15 to 20 yards a few times.
We have the QB and receivers. Defense is lights out compared to a few years back.

I agree we need to get a portal RB that can impact. I think Crowell is special but might not be ready week one.
We also need to figure out TE. Outside of Cuevas that has not been a good spot for us this year. And he is gone.

Rbs aren't the only thing lacking. Our OL has been terrible. Get OL first then see what is out there. A great ol will make mediocre backs look great

Wasn't Dear a 5 star?
I find it hard to believe all our 4 and 5 star RBs are busts.
I want a thunder and lightning 1-2 punch...need a guy with legit outside speed who can get the corner consistently.

Barry Sanders, Jim Brown, nor Emmitt Smith could run behind this offensive line. We need a new offensive line coach in the worst of ways. We have talent, though the OL talent degree could be argued, but basic techniques are not even being followed. It is hard to watch this group play during each series.

Definitely need to hit the portal hard on the OL...legit starter potential. Scout the all conference OL from the G5 conferences and bring in 2-3.

I think we’re absolutely fine with Hill/Crowell/Dear/Riley. Spend the money on the OL and those guys can win games for us now and moving forward.
Hill when he’s not banged up and is given a crease can be the banger and Crowell / Dear / Riley can fight it out to be the complementary explosive guy.
They just can’t be getting hit 2 yards deep in the backfield.

Four RBs is not enough. I mean hell we’ve had two hurt for extended time this year and a third banged up a good amount.

We have way more questions on the OL than answers right now and I think we need up to three portal guys depending on who comes back.

No one has more than four game ready guys. Not UGA, no one.
And we still have Young and the Brown kid from Texas coming in, so I count at least 6 going into portal season.
If we lose Young I wouldn’t be surprised to see us grab someone else but I don’t think it’ll be a high dollar splash guy, but maybe another veteran pounder in case we lose Hill at some point.
