First Round NFL draft pick. Still the third QB on Kiper’s list.

“Scarborough reports that Milroe turned down multiple seven-figure offers from Power Four programs to transfer last offseason after Nick Saban's retirement. As Milroe weighs his future, it is possible another similar offer comes his way that could change the calculus of the decision. Scarborough reports that it's unclear if Milroe, who received his masters degree last week, plans to sign with an agent. If he doesn't, he could enter the transfer portal and keep open the option of playing another year in college.”
I understand that there are other college programs that would love to have Milroe, but does this statement likely mean Deboer has let him know it’s time to move on or at least that he won’t be the guaranteed starter next year?

If Anthony Richardson is a top 5 pick, Milroe is a first rounder. He and AR are possibly the 2 most physically gifted QBs ever. AR's RAS score was 9.99/10. I expect Milroe to be right there with him.
Milroe is definitely still a project, but a team is going to say "we can fix him" and pick him high based on his perceived ceiling. The ceiling we know he will never reach, because he isn't improving game to game. Still makes the same mistakes he made in his first few games....LAST year.

Unless they learned their lesson.
Milroe will get drafted. I doubt it's in the first round and I doubt he'll ever do much in the NFL. But, I thought the same thing about Hurts, and from what I've heard, he's having a nice career. I don't watch the NFL, so I wouldn't know.

There won't be a better year for him to have a chance to go pro. QB class is weak at the top and in terms of depth. And Allar just said he's coming back so there goes another one off the board.
If you are a top 5 QB you are going to get drafted in the first 3 rounds regardless of the quality of the top 5. Certain teams basically have to draft a QB in certain years just in terms of roster setup and the difference in the cap between a 3rd round pick and a veteran backup.

I think he’d kill it at a smaller school, like a Troy or South Alabama. Just my feeling but I don’t think he wants to step down. Also not a lot of NIL at those schools. He’d be able to beat those guys to the sidelines and break tackles easier (if he tried)

He's going to be a top 3-4 round NFL Draft pick. Why would he choose going to play QB at Troy for a year instead of that?

I’m with you, I don’t think he would, just saying he’d put up big numbers like the star guy in high school that’s bigger than everyone else.

People here are dumber than the QB they think is mentally challenged.
Milroe has a lot of good qualities. His issues though are what would haunt us. If he was able to fix those issues even with this inconsistently coached team we would win every game just from him putting on the pads.
I don't get why people aren't smart enough to understand that

Yea I mean I'm ready for the Jalen rollercoaster to be over just like pretty much everyone else. But it's clear why an NFL team with the rope to take a risk on a QB in the 2nd/3rd round might do it. Get him in their building, let him work on the things that he currently shows very little ability to do for 2 seasons (film, practice, non-stop all the time) and see if you can unlock something once your current veteran QB retires/leaves.
He's clearly not going to be ready to walk in and play in 2025 for anybody. But if you are the Steelers and you see it as a risk worth taking for a 3rd round pick that can sit behind Russ for 2 seasons? Makes total sense. Doesn't mean it will work, but I can see the risk/reward for certain organizations with it.

I find it "odd" that returning to Alabama as the QB wasn't even mentioned as an option, but transferring to another school was...

Saints take him to replace Taysom Hill.

Jalen will get drafted likely in the first three rounds if not second round.

Wait a second. I thought all these guys were allowed to have agents now? They aren't even hiding it.
