Looked good in his limited opportunities tonight. Wish we would have utilized him more. Really looking forward to what he can do next season.

I'm pretty stoked for him next year. I thought he was our best back tonight

Him and Jam will be the best Duo we have had since Najee, Harris, and Jacobs

Yep. Jase had two big touchdowns but has lost a step because of injuries. The other backs have more juice.

Why exactly does he come in now after a month off when our main guys should be replenished? Not that I'm complaining, just trying to understand the thought process.

Was probably contemplating a transfer and we were so desperate to move the ball that they played the most talented back we have.

We’ve seen it before in huge games when things get dire.

He looked great. He should have played the entire 4th quarter and OT

Jam and him are guaranteed 1a and 1b next year. Why would he transfer?

He was sitting behind guys who were hurt or ineffective the second half of the season due to seniority rather than talent.

It’s possible that he had pass protect issues but he looked great in pass pro situations at A-Day so who knows.

I thought he looked great, and then wondered why we stopped using him. He made some nice runs with good cut backs to holes.

Maybe he got more practice reps in while Jase was being rested. Also, was Roydell hurt? I didn't read anything about him being unavailable leading into the game, but I didn't see him play in the game yesterday.

My guess - bowl practices are extended versus a regular work week and with Jase limited he probably got a lot more reps, probably was viewed as more capable by being able to get more practice reps than he had all year as the fourth back. Like it or not, once the season starts it's not easy for guys down the depth chart to work up barring injury.

He looks like the best back we've had in a while to be honest. Excited to watch him in 2024.

More than likely he just took a jump in the bowl practice. Probably got much more comfortable blocking

Yep, and there was also the statement a few days ago where he confirmed he isn’t transferring.

One thing I did notice is that he was wearing a shoulder brace. I wonder if he got dinged up mid season

I think it was an elbow brace. He had it on in the Kentucky game. I honestly can't remember prior to that.

Yeah I mean we are all just speculating because we don’t know his health situation or how he was performing but I know what I saw at A-Day and where Jase was at post injury so I’m just gonna say I’m glad he got an opportunity and I was very impressed with what I saw with his reps yesterday.

I had that thought as well. I thought this kid is going to break one of these. And then Jace came back in and we were getting 2 and 3 yards again.

He's damn sure quick at the line-of-scrimmage. I like him!
